"I'll have a smores frappucino venti please"

I said to the Barista who was at the register.

"Go ahead. Get whatever you want" I added to Hayden.

"May I please have a vanilla creme frappucino venti?" She asked.

"Of course! I'll have that right out. Can I have a name please?"

"Nova"

The Barista smiled and then walked away to start our order.

"Good choice" I whispered to Hayden and she whispered back

"Thanks!"

She seemed shy. She was very personable but not very open. I had respect for that because I don't like meeting new people. Anxiety sucks.

"So. What kind of music are you into Hayden? Name some artists."

Her eyes lit up like music was something special to her. Maybe it was just as special to her as it was to me.

"Well... I really like Crown The Empire.. Sleeping with Sirens... The Maine.. Waterparks... Oh! But my all time favorite band is Pierce The Veil!"

I stared her dead in the eyes. No. Way.
