SurfGirl123 (Bridgette): Courtney please answer me. You did nothing wrong and this is all Chris's fault.

QueenBee(Heather): We're all worried about you. Even me!

GrimGothling(Gwen): Courtney, please. Come outside and show Chris that you are the bigger person. Stick it to his annoying face.

S4M3Y (Samey): Look, I know we don't really know each other but I wanted to make sure you are okay. Are you okay?

My phone wouldn't stop dinging with messages. I was on the bed in an oversized sweater and some leggings. I had a tub of ice cream in one hand and a spoon in the other. I was watching TV. Re runs of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, to be exact. Jonathan was no where to be found. I didn't see him when I woke up. The last time I saw him was last night when I was crying to him about the events that happened during my interview. He wasn't that much of a comfort, which surprised me since he usually is.

I heard a knock at the door. I didn't bother getting up. The person just barged in anyways. It was Duncan. Shocker.

"Are you okay," he asked. I think he should know the answer by now. I remained silent and he just stood in the corner of the room, watching me watch TV and eat my third pint of ice cream that day. "I can't take this anymore," he said. He picked me up off the bed and made me drop the ice cream on the floor, making a mess.

"Duncan!" I shouted. He didn't listen. He turned off the TV and carried me out of the room. I felt almost embarrassed, seeing that my hair was in a knotted mess and I wasn't wearing any makeup. He didn't put me down until we reached a cafe downstairs. We sat down at a table and he order me an Iced coffee and a vanilla scone.

"I don't like what you're doing to yourself." I was looking down and didn't look up. The barista called his name and he walked over and came back with an Ice coffee and scone. I admit, the scone looked delicious but I didn't eat it.

"Tough shit," I said.

"What?" He asked.

"You said 'I don't like what you're doing to yourself' and I said 'tough shit'." He frowned.

"Courtney, I know you still hate me. I still hate myself for breaking you heart like that. Can you please talk to me, though? You won't talk to Bridgette or Gwen or anyone." I mumbled something that he didn't hear. "Speak up?"

"Can we go somewhere more private?" He turned around and saw all the people staring at us. Mostly Total Drama fans who spent a fortune in order to meet the people who have spent half of their life in therapy getting over the trauma caused by Total Drama. A lot of the girls looking were fan girling over us, making heart signs and taking pictures on their phones. We stood up and ran out of the cafe. We went to the conference room where we had that first meeting.

"Hey, a little privacy please!" Shouted Chris when we walked in. He was with Chef, his interns (who I was still curious how they managed to remain loyal to Chris) and another person who was turned around.

"Sorry." I said and left. I saw Duncan lingering around for a little bit longer so I had to drag him out. He had a shocked look on his face. "What?" I asked.

"Did you see who that guy turned around was?" I shook my head.

"Why does that matter? It's probably one of Chris's henchmen." He looked concerned but brushed it off his shoulder.

We walked back to his room and he locked the door behind us, probably so I couldn't escape and so I was forced to talk to him. I sat down on the bed. It was identical to my room, except that the bottles at the minibar were almost all gone. I assumed Duncan was getting drunk most of his nights.

"Why are you doing this to yourself? You know that Chris is doing this to get a rise out of you, right?"

"Who cares. Do you know who the real winner of Total Drama is? It's Chris McLean. He always wins because he always gets what he wants. Fame, fortune and the enjoyment of watching us waste away on school yard taunts." I felt like Cato from The Hunger Games. At the end of the games he realized that fighting for the fame and satisfaction of winning a government made killing game was pointless.

"I know who cares," Duncan said, whipping out my phone.

"How did you get a hold of that?" I asked.

"I picked it up when I picked you up off the bed. You should really keep a closer eye on these things." I rolled my eyes and he unlocked my phone. "Look at this. fifty nine unread messages from all these people who give a shit about how you are doing." I took the phone out of his hands and scrolled through.

lunchLover (Owen): Hey are you okay? I was in the audience last night and what Chris did to you was really mean.

RedHead6 (Zoey): Felling better?

HeartBreaker (Duncan): Gwen told me you weren't answering anybody's messages. I'm coming over. I swear, if I find you in an oversized sweater watching TV with a pint of ice cream you're dead.

I looked down at what I was wearing. an over sized sweater and PJ pants Jonathan got me for Christmas. They were white with snowflakes on them.

"Okay," I said to Duncan. "I see what you're saying. Chris has turned me into a disastrous wreck. What do we do about it?"

Duncan smirked that smirk of his that use to drive me crazy. "I have a plan for when I go on tonight."
