First Day

Hello Lovelies!

This story is a fanfiction with Finn Harries and a few other british (1 south african) youtubers!

This is my first story that I've uploaded so please be nice because I've worked hard on it so read if you want to, don't read if you don't like it! Forgive me for any mistakes because I haven't done this before. Any tips would be lovely!

I opened my eyes slowly to the sun shining through the swaying white curtains covering the balcony. It was a new day,

Or rather it was a new start. Today was the first day of my senior year before I went off to university.

I swept the egyptian cotton bed sheet to the side and stretched. I was so excited to see all my friends again and bury myself in books. You might think that I'm strange to like studying but it is so therapeutic to analyise texts and organize notes; just like scrapbooking or organizing.

30 minutes later I was out of the shower and had put on a pair of high waisted shorts paired with a flowy coral top, a loose knit cardigan, camel combat boots, a gold pendant, my Tiffany & Co. heart pendant that I got from my mum on my birthday, a few dainty rings and my emerald Rebecca Minkoff bag (Outfit pictured to the left). Looking in the mirror I felt confident and grown up. Reflecting back at me I saw a girl who's green eyes where wide with excitement. She had long, tanned legs, petit features and blonde waves cascading down her back; stopping  at her elbows. I was Fae Delton, 18, a senior while living in an apartment with my best friend Aria- or A.

-Fi! Are you coming? I tried to make waffles! I hear a melodical voice make its way from the kitchen together with the smell of half burnt waffles. My calm is replaced by a frenzy; last time Aria entered the kitchen we ended up with nearly half the fire department in our condo trying to understand how a toaster could set off the alarm five times in a row.

After scoffing down half a not-so-burnt waffle and managing to leave the house on-time; we decided to stop at Starbucks on our way to school.

-Hey Fae, That guy over there is staring at you. A hisses over her hazelnut latte and turns her head slightly in a guy's direction.

I look up and see a muscular quite tanned guy with brown hair styled slightly towards the left (his left) staring at me with intense green eyes; a smirk on his lips.

He sees me staring back and raises and thick eyebrow I look back down into my black coffee, why was he staring at me? Weird…

I take a seat in History just as the bell rings, all the students scramble into their seats and I see the guy from Starbucks come in and take the seat behind me. I lean towards my friend Peyton and whisper so that only she would be able to hear.

-Who's the new guy?

-Oh that’s Finn Harries, He came here from England with his twin Jack. He's so cute, especially his brother too bad Jack has a girlfriend.. She sighs drifting off in her own thoughts. I turn, ever so slightly and see him glancing down at his phone with a smirk on his face.

-And don't forget guys the essay is due a week from today so don't procrastinate ladies and gents, I know how tempting it is! Mr Feld, my English teacher announces just as the final bell of the day rings.

As I load my books into my bag I can't help but feel as though I'm being watched, I turn around and see no one in the corridor apart from a tall blonde guy called Caspar, three cheerleaders and two teachers talking; none of them looking in my direction.

I shrug the feeling off and hurry out of school.

As soon as I close the door I'm greeted by Maya and Misty my two cats and Bear, Aria's pug at my feet.

Aria wasn't home yet so I took the time to shower, get changed and sit at the kitchen table with a cup of tea while doing homework on my laptop.

I hear the door open and close silently.

-Hey A! I call absently and continue editing my work, I hear her walking up the stairs to her room.

-Alright Aria, I just finished the stir fry so come and eat before it get cold. I shout and wait for her response. Nothing. -A? I walk up the stairs and open her door, she's not there. I guessed she was in my room and opened the door to find nothing except strangely my window was open. I usually keep it closed and it was getting hotter here as summer has approaching but it was still hot so I had no reason to have opened it. Well I guess I forgot. Then I remembered Aria. -Hey Aria where are you? I shout again

-Here! Coming down the stairs I see her taking her coat off in the hall. -Sorry I'm late, I just needed to pop down to the Wal-Mart to get Strawberry pop tarts. Because you know I love my pop tarts and we were all out so I decided that I should probably pick some up. If you started eating without me I don't really mind, I mean we shouldn't starve you. A smiled and nudged me. -You okay Fi?

-I thought you already got home, like 30 minutes ago… I swallow. Probably about to time to check my hearing.
