Jordan's POV
As I walked over to Glenn I continued to think how do I know Glenn? I could know him from three places; the ARMY, medical school, or my neighborhood when I lived with my dad. I could just ask Glenn and figure it out.As I walked up to Glenn I waved and gave him the nicest smile I could muster, "hey Glenn, can we talk?" I asked as I got close.
He stared me a little scared before he replied. Once he got over himself he responded with a choked out, "s-sure." As we walked away from the group he started rambling," if Maggie said anything... I'm sorry. Did i do something wrong. If I did I swear I didn't mean it. If it makes you feel better Maggie's the one who offered..."
I Cut him off right then and there," calm the fuck down! I just have to ask you a question. Gees." He stopped talking nodded me on,"so... I was wondering if you want to medical school?" He shook his head no so I asked another question,"what's you in the ARMY?" He shook his head again so I asked the last question," did you go to Henderson elementary school?" Glenn's face lit up with surprise? Understanding? Confusion? He began nodding his head vigorously.
That's where i knew him from... he's the sweet, innocent, best friend, Glenn Rhee. I knew it. He's my Glenn Rhee! The only person i told about my dad before Maggie. my face lit up into a huge grin and we folded each other into a bone crushing, suffocating hug.
