Perfect // Rose

Winter Candy Apple.

*LUNA'S POV.*

-Dream-

Strange noises surrounded me from the creatures of the night. Walking threw the woods I stared up at the starry sky and shining moon sighing as I walked on. Leaves crunched beneath my feet with each step I took. The smell of rain from the day before filled my nose, I smiled as I walked to my favorite lake, "Moon lake." I sat on the wet grass taking In the beautiful scene before me along with the smell of rain. As I sat I noticed that I always had this small scent of a lotion from here called "Winter candy apple". I never knew why but it always ends up bring back memories of a random little girl which I know isn't me.

I started to hear a faint voice but it was so quiet that I couldn't hear it, this also occurred every time I come to this lake. Strange things always happen here. There was also a slightly louder voice that I could actually hear but it was screaming my name. I raised my eyebrows and stood up, but a wave of black ended my lake night.....

- dream end -
"LUNA" a voice screamed at me.
I groaned and rubbed my eyes slowly sitting up.

"What." I mumbled opening my eyes to see my mom. "You have 30 minutes until school! Get your ass out of bed now." My mom yelled at me.

I sighed and rolled my eyes shoving my comfy covers off me. When my mom finally stomped out my room I took off my shorts and Cami and went to my dresser to pick out my outfit.

   "Should I look nice or like a bum today."
"How about I look somewhat decent." I said to myself getting a floral dress out along with some light brown tights.

I changed into my dress and tights and put on a pair of black combat boots.
"Time to tame the beast now" I sighed pulling out my messy bun and letting my brown locks fall to my lower back. I grabbed my brush and started to lightly comb my hair bottom to top making sure I got all the knots out.

I then grabbed my makeup bag and grabbed my favorite eyeliner, mascara and nude lipgloss along with some concealer.
I put a thin wing on both eyes and layered my mascara and put a light coat of lipgloss. After I concealed my "blemishes" I got up happy with how I looked and checked the time, " 7:50. Great 10 minutes to walk to school."

I grabbed my bag running down the stairs saying goodbye to my dad and out the door I went.  I shoved my headphones in and listened to my favorite bands blocking out everyone while I walked down the empty sidewalk.
 
  As soon as I got to school the first bell rang and everyone scattered to their classes. Mine sadly being math first thing in the morning.

  Mr. Bedlam glared at me as I walked in late quickly walking to my seat with an apologetic face taking out my math books.

-45 minutes later-

After a dreadful 45 minutes the bell finally rings and I passed in my math worksheets and ran out the door.

The rest of the school day felt like hours on end with all my boring classes but I finished all my work to keep my parents happy.

After the last bell I went to the gym to change into my cheer uniform for practice, when I got to the lockers I saw my two best friends Maddie and Zoey.

"Hey guys." I greeted my friends as I walked to my locker.
"Hey Luna, how was your day." Maddie smiled as she stripped to change.
"Same as always I guess, woke up a little late with a nice wake up from my mother in my face." I chuckled a little as I put my uniform on waiting for my friends.
"Is that guy still trying to get with you?" Zoey asked winking. "Yea, he's been a pain in the ass though since he tries to talk to me 24/7." I sighed as we walked to the field.
"Damn, I thought you were gonna go for him, he's on the football team and has really nice abs." Zoey drooled as I gave her a shove.
"Ew totally not he only wants sex Zoey." I laughed along with Maddie as zoey drools over him.

After practice finished I decided to just go home since I had homework and mom wouldn't let me go out on school nights unless I asked before.
When I got home I went to my room ignoring my mom and sat at my desk starting my English and math homework.

I sighed and closed my books after a good hour of writing and decided to take a shower and go to bed.
I stripped and hopped in my shower making sure to scrub my makeup off and use my citrus body wash and shampoo. After I was done I stepped out and got into my regular Cami and shorts shivering from the temp change and hopped into my bed getting comfy in my covers and slowly drifted off to sleep.
