Part 50 - Finn

Hours later, once everything has calmed down. We are alone and Rae's mum has gone to bed. We to have turned in.

When we are like this side by side lying on Rae's bed. Still. In each others presence I know. I know that Rae is mine and the world is right.

"What you thinking about Finn?" Rae breaks our silence.

"That the world is right m'dear" I reply smiling.

"So. Finn."

"Yes Rae."

"Tomorrow, will you take me to the..." she shakes her head "actually on second thoughts I will go by my..."

"I am coming with you Rae" I interrupt her ramblings.

"No Finn seriously it is my..."

"Ummm it is ours to deal with not yours Rae, ok?"

"Finn. Seriously I can just take care of it. You don't need to bother."

"Rae. Don't argue!"

"Ok Finn."

"Maybe Rae we can go away in a couple of weeks, what you think?" I ask knowing I have something special planned.

"Ummm I don't know Finn. Can't imagine mum will be ok with that" Rae replies cautiously.

"Your mum is fine with it, I also spoke to her about it earlier" I reply just as Rae elbows me.

"Are you serious Finn, what else did you 'discuss' without me?"

I shrug my shoulders.

"So where are we going?" Rae asks she is curious and excited.

"It is a surprise" I reply winking. "I need to warn you though, where we are going we won't be alone."

"Weekend away, not alone, hmmm" Rae repeats "you are bring very mysterious Finn." She pokes at me. I laugh and start to tickle Rae back in defense. "Finn, stop it, we will wake mum up. FINN!" she says firmly.

I stop and kiss Rae, I can never resist her lips. As I kiss her pulling her towards me I stroke her face. As I hug Rae and nestle my face against her pale flawless skin. Inhaling her intoxicating scent I declare my love for Rae again. I never tire of telling her and I swear I could spend the rest of my life like this wrapped up in Rae. I think she now believes it, but there is so much more for us to overcome.

"Finn, give me a hint about where we are going?" she whispers. The lethal combination of her words and breathe against my skin fuels how I feel, my adoration and affection for Rae is clear. I place kisses against her neck and hold her tighter.

"Sorry girl, a surprise is a surprise, no hints" I continue to kiss her neck.

"Finn."

"Yes girl?" I pull away and look Rae in the eye.

"Pleeeeeease" she begs.

I laugh against her neck "nup" and keep placing soft kisses against her neck.

Rae responds by placing her hands on my skin, pulling me to her. I move my lips from her skin and my head rolls back as I reveal that "nothing you do Rae will get me to give you any hints."

She giggles and smiles against my skin. "You sure Finn?"

I takes Rae's hands and remove them from me. "Yup I am sure I am not telling you anything." She groans at me in frustration.

"Ok. Ok. Ok, I will just have to wait for you to slip up and just stop distracting you" Rae teases.

We are back laying down both smiling at one another and I know I have to ask something seriously. "Rae, I want to talk to you about something serious" I start. She looks at me sadly.
