Love. What does it really mean? If you asked me I would say it means nothing. Love doesn't really exist. It is but a chemical in your brain. Any love you feel towards another is nothing more than a figment of your imagination.
We say "I love you" but it doesn't mean anything. They are only words we say to cloud the judgment of others. To make them think we really care about them. Humans don't care for each other. They only look out for themselves.
Some might say that they are truly there for you. Someone who will do anything for you. But when the time comes, when you truly need them, they turn away and leave you at your weakest.
Vulnerability is futile. That is why we should never let anyone close enough to know our weaknesses. Never let anyone make you feel weak and vulnerable for it will slowly crush you like the insignificant creature you are.
So what does love really mean? It means showing your weaknesses to someone who you thought of as everything you ever wanted.

***********************************

It's been a month since the incident. My head is still spinning. I don't really recall what happened that night. I've tried to recall what happened but each time I do I get a huge headache.
It's like I've lost all memory of that night. All I remember is walking home after school, then nothing.
I remember waking up in a pool of blood.
The blood didn't belong to me. I woke up unharmed, but the person across from me wasn't as lucky. All of his limbs were cut off and he had been decapitated. There was blood gushing down the pavement to where i lay.
I had to force myself not to throw up. The sight was horrifying.
That's all I remember...
Ever since the police found me I've been under heavy guard. They asked me questions about that night. Questions I couldn't answer. They didn't believe me when i told them i couldn't remember. Even my parents don't believe me. They think i killed that bastard on the street!

Today is my first day at a mental ward. They still want me to confess since they can't find any traces of my DNA on the body. Can't they just accept that i can't remember what happened?

This place sucks. There is absolutely no color anywhere. I feel down just by looking at the people it's so depressing here.  Everyone is wearing the same white dress. I must stand out like a sore pimple with my black jeans and blue, guns 'n roses, t-shirt.
A lady dressed in a dark blue shirt and white pants, walks up to me with a huge grin on her face. Stop smiling lady.  We both know why I'm here.
"Are you miss Walker, Maxine?" She asked with the same grin on her face. Her voice sounds way too happy and cheerful. I don't even know this woman but i already hate her.
"Yeah. That's me." I answered in a bored tone. "And it's Max. Don't call me Maxine."
"Well, Max, if you'll follow me please, I'll be your guide for today.  I'll show you around and give you your schedule for each day you're here." The queasy grin fell from her face instantly. "While you're here you will follow the rules and keep to your schedule at all times. Rule breaking will not be tolerated!"
Do you believe in hate at first sight. Because i do. Everything about this woman makes me hate her. She's looks too perfect with her high cheekbones,  blue eyes, blonde, wavy hair and near impossible thin figure. She reminds me of a barbie doll with her caked on makeup.
I follow her down a white corridor which smells like medicine.  She is blabbering on about the history of the building and how old it is and shit like that. Her voice in my opinion is way too high and quirky.  It makes me want to throw up.

I look down at my shoes while walking behind her when her irritating voice screams my name. "Would you please pay attention! This will be your partner and room mate while you stay with us. I expect you too be polite to him and be at your best behavior around him." She glares at me angrily before opening a door revealing a small white room with two beds across from each other against the walls. There is a guy sitting on the bed on the left. He looks shocked to see me for a half a second before looking back down at his big black combat boots. His hair is falling over his face and he mubbles something to me. "Sorry,  what was that?" I ask. " I said, hello, you bitch." He glares at me and reverts his eyes back to his shoes. Anger fills me and i walk over to stand directly in front of him. " Stand up and say that again to my face you pussy!" He stands up looking extremely agitated.  His muscular figure towering over me. "You heard me. I called you a bitch. What is such a small thing like you gonna do about it?" With a swift movement I kick him between the legs. He falls down to his knees before curling into a ball on the floor groaning in pain. I smirk down at him. "If i were you i would stay down punk. I may be small but i can pack a punch." I then kick his side to make sure of my dominance over him.  I wasn't going to let this asshole push me around and call me a bitch. I then proceed to my bed and start packing my things onto the bed.  I was tired and needed some sleep. I curled up onto the the hard bed and fell asleep instantly.
