Chapter 2: Off to the human world!

"Oh Henry dear, why aren't you sleeping yet? It's been five hours since the trial" The queen said with a concerned face sneaking up on her husband while standing beside the door." I am fine and I will be there soon, don't worry”. “Of course you would say that, as always" She said sighing with disappointment. The king then walked to her, cupped her face and kissed her forehead, “Okay, I promise this time that I will go back as soon as I arrange and clean up my table." The queen nodded and went to their room. He sighed with relief and then proceeded to fix his things. Suddenly, he heard a loud scream continued by panting with his vampire hearing. He turned, running to the door and searched who it was. 

"Oh my goodness, I thought I was gonna die in there!" Astride said while trying to catch her breath. "So do I." Genevieve said while doing the same. They admired the beautiful surroundings and then noticed something, “Where’s Haley?" Astride asked which means she already catch her breath. “I don'-", Genevieve was cut off when she saw Haley whom bumped her head in the tree looking lifeless. Astride noticed and they both paused for a moment forming a shocked face. They both began to scream for help," Haley! Haley! Haley!" they both began to tear up while shouting for help. Haley started to giggle a bit and Genevieve noticed it. "YOU!" she shouted to her while Haley laughed out loud. "HAHAHA!!YOU DEFINITELY BELIEVED IN IT!!!!!!" Astride began to twitch her eyes. She was that annoyed that she walked away from her and Genevieve did the same. "Oh come on, that was just a joke........ sorry." Haley tried to explain desperately. Astride turned and swiftly hugged her, “Don’t you ever do that again, I was really worried you know", she said explaining to Haley. As they began to forgive her, King Henry came interrupting them," The three princesses...... Why are you girls here? Shouldn't you be at your castle?" he asked with confusion. 

"So you girls are saying that you went here because it was a boring at your castle that you can't do anything interesting?" the king asked with a hint of frustration. The girls immediately nodded in agreement. They didn't plan to tell the truth to Uncle Henry since they thought that it will burden him more. "Well that's an unreasonable reason, you all should go back to the vampire world and -", he was cut off by the girls. "NO!" They all said in unison. "Please don't! We want to stay here for a while", Genevieve pleaded. "We want to recall this place and we haven't visited for a while in a couple years", Haley continued. "Plus we'll get our butts kicked by mom if she knew we went here" Astride added informally. Uncle Henry really took his time to think this thoroughly. He wanted them to stay and get used to this environment too but there mother will be worried like any other parent would feel." Fine ", he finally decide. The girls were happy to hear it but he continued. "But we have to tell your mom about it. Are we clear?" He confirmed to them. "No we'll be the ones to tell her when we get back", Genevieve answered. He nodded and they all agreed to do it. He told them to rest already since the night is approaching. "Goodnight", he said to them one by one in there separated rooms and of course they also responded 'goodnight'. 

Astride's POV 

The day started with a bright sunshine shining directly in my eyes continued with a yawn which tempted me to go back to sleep but then realized that I had to get up. The day started with me going to the bathroom to take a bath. I can feel the refreshing feeling of the warm water touching my skin. Oh, how I love this feeling. While going out of the bathroom, I noticed my sisters waiting impatiently. "How long does it take for you to take a bath?" Hailey asked with a bit of tension. I giggled a bit then answered "Sorry, I just really love the water touching my skin", I explained. They simply understood but Genevieve remembered something," Hey, we have to go already, Uncle Henry is waiting for us in the dining room.” "Oh yes I forgot. Hurry up Astride", Haley noted. "Okay, okay fine. Wait for five minutes", I said with a carefree attitude. I went to my king-sized closet and picked out a casual skinny jeans, a metallic silver top with a black blazer and a blue five- inched, high heeled shoes. As I walk out of the closet, I saw my sisters and headed to the dining room.
