Chapter 7: The Riff Off

Third Person

OOOOOOHHHHHHHH!

Everyone was gathered around the empty pool where the Aca-Initiation Night was held. A lot of people were there and Beca was starting to feel a little bit more than nervous. Of course she didn't show her emotions, and kept it hidden. Aubrey hadn't even told anyone how to do it. She said it was "hard to explain". Beca rolled her eyes remembering her words. All of the acapella groups were there: the Barden Bellas, the Treblemakers, the High Notes, and lastly the BU Harmonics.

Justin, Tommy's side kick came out screaming "Time for the Riff Off!!!" in the middle. Everyone clapped and then he screamed, "Who's ready!?" Aubrey clapped her hands and jumped up and down just like about everyone else in the pool area.

Jesse caught Beca's eye and motioned downwards with his hand. "You're going down," he mouthed.

Beca made a face, uncrossing her arms. "I don't care," she mouthed back. She could already see herself falling for him already but she couldnt' do anything about it. I can't choose who I fall for. She reasoned with herself. It was true, no one knew it but, the ice heart was melting.

Jesse made a "yeah I know" face to Beca who was trying really hard not to smile.

"Our first category is..." Justin put remote like thing against the wall of the pool. The virtual wheel spun, looking for a category out of the 16. Aubrey put her hands to her face, ready to jump right into the category. Everyone waited anxiously and the tension rose.

"Ladies of the 80's!" Justin screamed to the pool. Aubrey and Bumper both ran at the same time to the middle. But the Treblemakers beat out Aubrey and started to sing Mickey. Aubrey made a face of disgust at them and they immediately started singing.

"Oh Mickey, you're so fine.

You're so fine, you blow my mind." The treblemakers enjoyed themselves singing and dancing along to their singing. Beca genuinly smiled at Jesse. Aubrey was made, but none of the other Bellas seemed troubled that they didn't get first pick of the song, mostly because they had no idea how the game was supposed to work.

"Oh Mickey, you're so fine..." The Trebles got cut off by the Harmonics who jumped into Like a Virgin.

"You're so fine, and you're mine! I'll be yours..." the Trebles immediately start backing up giving the Harmonics a look. Beca gives them a look too, their facial expressions were honestly bizarre.

"Cause you make me feel, yeah you make me feel," the Harmonics enjoyed their singing until Aubrey decided to cut them off. She made a "watch and learn" motion to the Bellas who still didn't exactly understand what was going on.

Aubrey made some big hand gestures before she started.

"Like the one in me, that's OK." All the Bellas started joining in. "Let's see how you do it. Put up your dukes, let's get down to it!" Stacy and Fat Amy came forward with Aubrey. "Hit me with your best shot!"

Bumper tried covering up his smile at Fat Amy. Instead, he made a face at her. Aubrey wiggled her ass. Aubrey's such a slut. The Bella's danced around and sang until one of the girls from High Notes.

"It must of been love," she laughed crookedly, showing that she was high up in the sky. She seemed really confused and the other people from her group were laughing hysterically at her. They were obviously really drunk or really high too, The High Notes are disqualified and the next category has to be chosen.
