Lexi's POV
Lee sat down on my bed. Today was the day I was gonna tell Lee I loved him. I remember when Mom and Dad first adopted me it was obvious he was in love with me, but he seemed to get over his crush on me. "What do you wanna tell me?" Lee asked. "That..." I paused and took a deep breath. "I love you." I confessed. I was afraid he'd reject me. "I love you too" he said. My jaw dropped. He really loved me? "Aww!" said Mom at the door. "Way to ruin a moment, Mom, way to ruin a moment." I said, then the three of us erupted with laughter.
Mom left. "So, are we... umm... boyfriend/girlfriend now?" I asked Lee. "Only if you're OK with it." he said. "And it is." I said. And then we kissed. It was a kiss full of fireworks. It was like it was almost... magical. Nah, magic doesn't exist. (These TDM and Leexi fanfics take place in the real world and are magic-less.)
