When I first came up with this idea, I intended for it to be a television show; therefore, I'm going to format it as such. Each "volume" (equivilent of a season) will be split up into "parts" (episodes). Like television episodes, each part, while still a piece of the continuous plot, will be (somewhat) a story in its own right. I expect each part to be about 4 chapters. I may abandon this format later if I realize this story can't be told that way properly, but who knows?
