Tyler was right, Josh's place was a bit out of town, it was about an hour long ride, but it didn't feel like it, We played loud music and sang and made stupid jokes, the boys thought It was absolutely necessary that they get Taco Bell.

All in all the ride felt shorter than it actually was, currently sitting with some of my only friends; having a good time.
I was happy that Josh's house was so far away, I felt safer every minute we were driving, getting further away from that hell hole I called my home.

Mufasa slept happily on a sleeping Josh and Tyler and I talked a bit more.
"You sure he's asleep?" Ty asked me.
"Yeah pretty sure." I answered
I waved my hand in front of Josh's sleeping face.
"Why?" I added.
"Put your headphones on him just incase." He spoke
I put my headphones carefully in Josh's ears and played some slow songs on a volume that wasn't too loud to wake him, but also loud enough, so he couldn't hear us.

"Ok what's up?" I asked him
Tyler took a long breath
"Ok well.. When you came to our first show, Josh pointed you out to me, he thought you were really cool.
And as you came to more of our shows he would always be talking about you, asking if I thought maybe you'd come to the next one.
I know he won't admit it but, he really liked you and when he saw you on the subway the other day, I saw a spark, a light of happiness I hadn't seen in a long time. Y/N you caused that spark.
When he was telling me about it, and how he thought it was you, he had a little glow in his eyes, like when a kid gets a really dope toy."
He admitted. But there was almost a sad sounding way he said it all. I never knew Josh liked me, if I knew my whole life would've been different. I thought almost the exact same thing about Josh, I definitely had a crush on him.
I was stunned.
"I think he might be in love with you
Y/N. I know you haven't seen each other in a while, but you can't tell me you don't have something for him.. I can see it.." Tyler adjusted the front mirror so I could now see his eyes, he looked directly at me and smiled. I couldn't help but blush and smile back.
"I think I like him too."
"Like a lot."
I spoke honestly
Tyler giggled and hopped in his seat.
"HE NEEDS TO KNOW!" He laughed excitedly,
"Dude shhhh, he's still sleeping I think,
But don't you dare say anything to him, I'll do it when it's right." I warned him.
Tyler shrunk in his seat from almost waking Josh and giggled

After a long silence he spoke
"Just don't hurt my fren."
He stopped the car
"And if he hurts you, talk to me, okay?" Tyler whispered.
I nodded.

"We're here, wake up J." Ty added and started to get out of the car.

"Joshie, hey, Josh. Dude were here." I shook him lightly
I pulled my headphones out of his ears, he looked annoyed by his nap disturbance, but looked over and smiled at me with his sleepy face.
"Hi" he said in a raspy voice.
I laughed and got out of the car to help Tyler.
I stepped out and looked at the house,
"Holy shi-" I started
"Come on, come on." Tyler interrupted me pushing me towards the house. We were in the middle of a beautiful forest, with a huge grey and black themed house with lots of large windows. Mufasa ran in before I did and made himself comfortable on the edge of a couch. This house was very modern with lots of natural light.
It was beautiful.
Josh just walked past me and laughed, He had my bags in his hands and walked up a cool staircase, I followed him like a lost dog.
"I'm gonna get lost in here" I admitted
Josh laughed "That's what I'm here for." He stood in his best superman pose.
Tyler told me to follow him down a hallway, he pointed to three closed doors
"My spare room."
"Josh's room."
"Annnnnd your room. All of them have their own small bathrooms." Tyler opened the door to my room and led me inside.
It was stunning, Grey walls with a few plants here and there and the farthest wall to the left was all one big window,
With a huge square bed on the wall with the door, there was a desk with a mirror and a small piano in the corner. Tyler pressed a button and black curtains folded down. He pressed it again and they re opened, "make yourself at home." He said.
He gave me a hug and left me in awe.
I turned to see a large closet and Josh gestured to my bags and then to the closet, gave me a thumbs up and left.

As he was walking away I tackled him in a hug. He hugged back gently
"Thank You Josh, so much, for everything, I'll be out of your face soon, so you don't have to put up with me for too long." I smiled at him and went to go unpack.

After a few hours of exploring, I had finally unpacked. I think I learnt my way around most of the house. Tyler went to his house to visit Jenna and Josh was currently playing video games on his huge flat screen. Yelling at the screen.
I walked over and picked up a controller. Added myself into the game and was currently battling with Josh.
"You like Mortal Kombat?" He asked, surprised.
"Fuck yeah!! NOW DIE!" I yelled back
Josh and I were both pretty good, the match went on for quite a while both of us still going strong, finally Josh got the last hit and knocked my character onto the ground. I patted him on the back and went to go 'fake pout' in the kitchen.

"Y/N?" I heard Josh ask as he found me standing at the island looking out at the dark forest.
"Are you sad that I beat you?" He asked seriously he turned me around to face him. I didn't say anything and kept up my 'sad' act. I didn't look at him,
"Y/N, come on. I'm sorry." He sounded so sad, I couldn't help it I looked up at him and laughed,
"Josh I'm fucking with you, I couldn't care less." I confirmed.
Josh's worried face broke into a smile.

Then I did something I don't think either of us expected, I kissed him, and he kissed back. I laughed and ran up to my room, I looked back at him from the top of the stairs and saw him standing exactly where I'd left him, smiling to himself. I stifled a laugh and went to bed.
