The Missing Princess

Prologue

The Heart Kingdom. A peaceful place full of loving auras around. Everyone is hitting the hay since its was night. Parents are saying goodnight to their children and so is the King and Queen.

"Look Jude, Lucille is smiling" the Queen said, looking at her daughter. "She's got your smile Layla" the King said, smiling.

"She's so beautiful" Queen Layla said tearing up. "Just like her mother" King Jude said, kissing the head of his wife. The princess giggles cutely making the parents aw.

"Lucille I have a gift for you" the King said as he got something in his pocket. It was a gold necklace with the Royal family crest hanging. "Jude is that what I think it is?" Layla asked. The King nods as he puts in around his daughter's neck.

"Yes it is Layla, I should give it to her after all she is the heir to the throne and father did say that I should give it our first child" Jude said. Lucille holds the crest and holds it and laughs.

"Looks like she likes it" Layla smiled. "Do you think she'll also be a Celestial Spirit Wizard like you?" Jude asked. "Not sure, she's too young to show her powers, probably when she's older we'll find out" Layla said as she puts Lucille in her crib. "Yeah maybe you're right" Jude agreed.

"Good night Lucille sweet dreams" Layla said as she kisses the princess's head. "Good night, we love you" Jude said as he kisses the princess's head.

Lucille yawns and drifts to sleep. The King and Queen laugh and close the lights. "Just think when she turns eighteen, she'll be able to use the family sword" Jude imagined. "And don't forget she'll be able to use magic too" Layla reminds.

"Yeah, she's gonna be a great ruler someday" Jude said. "Yeah she's also gonna have a great husband and children too" Layla said as she closes the door.

"Come on we have to go to sleep, I'm tired" Layla yawned. "Yeah King duties can make a man tired" Jude said as he holds Layla's hand. Layla giggles.

The King and Queen go to their room and went to sleep. In the middle of the night a man in a hood arrived in the castle.

He passed the guards and went to the princess's room though the balcony. He went in the room and slowly walked to the princess. Once he goes near the princess's crib he sees the princess asleep cutely.

"Aw aren't you cute, how about you come with me and train, you'll make a good slave" the man said. Then he grabs the princess, but she starts crying for the man was holding her tightly.

"Shhh brat quiet down!" The man whispered. But then the princess cried louder, making him jump back, accidentally hitting a lamp making it brake. This woke up the King and Queen.

They sat up and wondered where that sound came from and noticed Lucille crying. Their eyes widen and ran towards the room. The man heard the foot steps and put the child to sleep with a potion that made her hair from blonde to black.

As soon as he done that he ran towards the balcony. But as soon as he reached the balcony, the door off the room opened and revealed the King and Queen with some Royal guards.

The King and Queen's eyes open in shock and the Queen gasped seeing Lucille in the man's arms. Then man jumped out off the balcony. "Guards after him, he has my daughter" the King said.

Guards soon chased the man out the castle grounds. The man kept on running until he reached an orphanage. He put the baby down and took a breath since he lost the guards.

Then he heard the guards and ran again forgetting about the baby. The guards chased him saying "come back her with the princess!". Then the man and the guards went away.

Then the door of the orphanage opened revealing a short man with white hair in his 50's. He looks down and sees a baby girl with black hair sleeping. He picks the baby up and looks around to see anyone who put the kid there.

He sighs and enters the orpanage. "So gramps what was that commotion outside?" Macao asked. He was working for Makarov, helping on taking care of the kids.

"Not sure Macao, but I found a baby girl outside" Makarov said. "A baby girl?" a 5 years old girl with scarlet hair wearing armor said. "Yes Erza a girl" Makarov said.

"Oh can I see?" A 5 years old girl with white hair in a high ponytail wearing black said. Makarov gave the baby to the girl. "Does she have a name?" The girl asked. "No Mira not even a letter" Makarov said.

"Hmmm...how Lucy?" Erza asked. "Yeah that sounds nice" Mira agreed. "But what about for her last name?" Wakaba asked. He's the best friends of Macao and also helps ok taking car of the kids.

"Well how about Light?" Mira said. "Yeah but that's what her first name means" Erza said. "I know, but she's like the light of the guild so why won't we make her whole name mean light" Mira explained. "Yeah that's good" Macao said. Everyone else agreed.

"Welcome to Fairy Tail, Lucy Light"
