Everyone told me how bad he was for me, but I didn't understand why they thought that. When I thought of us together, I thought of how special I felt when he looked my way, I never understood why they didn't see that. Now, now I understand. I understand how it feels to feel like you will never be enough, I understand how it feels to beg someone to look at you like they used to.

I watched him, watching how he moved, how he spoke, how everything looked so beautiful when he was doing it, even yelling. I listen as he yelled at me like I was nothing but a problem to him. Maybe that's all I was to everyone? His words hurt like he was stabbing me with his words, but watching him, he still looked perfect to me.

"Dawn? Are you even listen to me?" My name sounded so perfect coming out of his lips, but his eyes weren't looking at me how they used to. There is no love in the way he speaks this time, just anger. My brown eyes locked with his, I've never seen him this anger. "Who is he Dawn?" I glanced at the poor guy.

"I don't know Matt, please calm down." I begged reaching for me but he pushed me back before turning towards the guy. I started at the poor guys face as Matthew began towards him, anger running threw his veins. He didn't noticed me shaking, he didn't noticed me at all because he didn't care. Maybe I could help the guy.

I grabbed my black bag before running out of the doors, I know Matthew will chase me. Well, I hope he will. I heard the door open as I ran, "Dawn." He yelled as I hid behind a tree, I tried to catch my breath but I couldn't, it's like I had forgotten how to breathe. I began to shake more, wishing, praying it wouldn't happen. Please, not again.

I tried to run again, but my vision became burly. "It's okay, I got you." A deep voice whispered picking me up, but it wasn't Matthews. His was like an angels, this voice was more dark. Maybe Matthew was my angel & he was my demon. My eyes rolled back into my head, maybe this was the end.

I felt air fill my lungs as my eyes shot open, but I wasn't outside anymore. I slowly sat up expecting to hear Matthews voice ringing through the apartment, but it wasn't his I heard. I noticed his black hair first, than his eyes. Something in his eyes, I haven't seen in a long time. Love.

I jumped back as he moved closer, he stopped mid step. "There is a taser next to you if it makes you feel safer, in the second drawer." He pointed towards the night stand beside me, he didn't moved & neither did I. "I'm not going to hurt you," He promised & I believed him, I shouldn't but I do.

His eyes were filled with something I haven't seen before, I couldn't read him. He held out a water bottle before smiling at me, his smile made my heart speed up. I slowly stood to my feet, he put the water bottle in my hand before staring at me. "Are you alright?" I didn't answer, I couldn't.

"I'm okay." My voice cracked as I whispered to him, "Asthma?" I nodded. "My sister has it too, but yours is something new." He stared like he was checking to see if I was really okay, he made me nervous. I took a drink of the water before he began to speak, "I really hope I didn't freak you out, I just wanted to make sure you were okay."

He really cared, I felt myself smile before I began to speak, "Thank you," He smiled, his smile was beautiful. So kind, so new. My phone began to ring & he pointed to the bed, where my bag was lying. I reached for it as I heard his voice fill the phone.

"Where the hell are you Dawn?" I gulped hearing the anger in his perfect voice, "I'm coming home now." I promised. He hung up the phone before I even finished speak, I grabbed my back. "Do you need a ride?" I shook my head, "I don't want you to get hurt." I ran out his door, looking towards the street sign. Thankfully I wasn't far.

I ran until I reached out apartments, I ran up the stairs until I reached our apartment. The door was wide open, I gulped before walking inside. The door slammed behind me before I got slammed into the wall causing another hole. I didn't blame him, I deserved whatever is going to happen, but it was different this time. No fist, no hits, he held me.

"I can't lose you dawn, please don't scare me like that again." I wrapped my arms around him, hoping this moment would never end. This is how we used to be, I heard the love in his voice again. "Where were you?" He leaned his head against mine, "I had another one." he pulled me into another hug like he was afraid to lose me.

He just held me, no one spoke. No words were needed, but that soon faded away once his phone began to ring. He left the room without a word to me, but I didn't mind. Well, I tried not to mind. I walked into the bathroom, stripping from my clothes before climbing into the hot water. I felt like something was wrong, but I didn't wanna ruin the love I felt when he spoke.

I brushed my fingers through my hair as I heard a loud thump, my eyes shot up. I heard the bathroom busted open, his hands reached in the shower turning off the water. He handed me a towel before I wrapped it around my body, "Get dressed now." He demanded before slamming the bathroom door causing me to jump.

I put on a pair of ripped skinny jeans, a grey t shirt that said nope & combat boots. I left my hair wavy before walking out of the bathroom. He threw me my backpack before dragging me out of the door. I didn't protest, didn't wanna start a mess. I climbed into the car before he began speeding down the street.
