"You~" You fluttered your eyes in a mocking way.
"Oh y/n! I would be honored to be your date to the prom!" You both laughed and smiled at eachother.
Yasmin looked around the lunchroom for a particular person.
"Where is Mason anyway? He's gonna freak when he sees what they did."
You realised that you had no idea where he was. You hadn't seen him since your goodbyes in the morning."He's probably out for lunch." You didn't believe yourself. You wanted him to be here. Your face was numb and your spirit was broken, having your two favourite people with you would make you feel a whole lot better.
Your thoughts were interrupted by the ringing of the bell signaling that lunch was over.
You needed to have Yasmin with you to make you feel better.
"Hey Yas, wanna go to our favourite coffee shop after school? I could really go for some cake." As her eyes brightened, you knew her answer already.
"Of course! We could even go shopping for prom dresses after." With that you two said goodbye and continued the school day.The Coffee House: After School
"So did Mason ask about what happened yet?" Yasmin was drinking her ice coffee as she looked at her new book about zodiacs.
You hesitated to answer her, knowing what she would say next.
"Uh, actually, I didn't see him after school." You decided to ignore her gaze by sliding the zodiac book to your side and flipping through the pages.
"What?" She stopped drinking her coffee and stared right at you."y/n c'mon, this is ridiculous. He should be here instead of me right now. Where has he been?" You didn't know the answer. In fact, you were scared of it. You didn't want to admit to yourself that Mason has been more distant. He always told you that he was at Big Hit talking to your dad and now that there's a girl named Suzy, you weren't sure where he was."Mason has his own things going on." Like a side chick possibly. "My dad has been keeping him busy."
"Seems like he spends more time with your dad than you nowadays."As you were thinking about Mason, Yasmin took a peek at the page that was opened in the book.
"Looks like it was fate." She pointed to the page that was opened. You looked down at it and saw a description of Scorpios. On the other side was a description of Gemini."What are you saying?" You asked suspiciously.
"I'm saying that you need a good Gemini." She tapped the Gemini page a few times.
You didn't know much about Geminis except that they were supposedly a perfect match for Aquarius'. You weren't interested in knowing much about them since Scorpios interested you. Well. One Scorpio interested you."Just let it go Yasmin. At this rate, you won't be my bridesmaid at the wedding." You said teasingly.
"If it's with Mason, I might not even show up to the wedding."
"The banter is over 9000 today with you Yasmin." Both of you smiled at eachother.
"But seriously..." You said in a monotone voice. "I love him Yasmin, it would be nice for my best friend to get along with him. Zodiacs don't mean everything."She got the message and nodded with a small smile.
"Ok, I'll try." As you two finished your coffee and cake, you decided to head over to a dress store. Since your parents were very wealthy, Yasmin dragged you to the most expensive one. She never took advantage of the money that you had, but you told her she could just this once. She loved dressing up and waited for her turn to go to prom, so you wanted it to be special for her."Y/n! Y/n! Y/n! I'm dying! No, I'm dead already. It's perfect. Oh my god I'm gonna faint..."
You turned away from the rack you were looking at to see Yasmin holding the most beautiful dress that you ever saw. Even if you weren't fond of wearing dresses, you had to admit that you would wear the heck out of that dress. It was a deep red with off the shoulder sleeves. It looked like silk and probably was. It was made to hug the curves of whoever wore it. No matter who wore it, they would look stunning in it.
