Kaylee's POV
One summer, Not just any summer, but this summer was the best ever.
Well ok, over the summer I went on a vacation with some of my friends to California. We already live in california just in a differnet part, so its not much of a vacation. But We were staying at a hotel for a week, right near the beach. So that day we got there, we went to the beach. I was just walking along the beach while my friends were somewhere, and I suddenly bumped into someone, I fell... Then I looked up and saw a attractive guy standing infront of me. He looked familiar, I just couldn't think of where I seen him before. Then he noticed I was on the ground, and he helped me up. He said sorry and then he walked away. Then I started walking away and I found my friends and we left the beach. When we got back to our hotel it was around 8:00 p.m. I noticed that I didn't have my phone on me. I left it at the beach. I told my friends that I was gonna go down to the beach and be back. They said "Ok", so then I left.
As I was walking down to the beach it started getting darker. I saw the beach right up ahead, so I started running so it wouldn't get to dark. I finally made it to the beach, and saw one person seating on the beach looking at the ocean. As I was walking down to the beach, I got closer to the person and it looked like the guy from earlier that I bumped into. He noticed me walking near him and quickly put something in his pocket. Then he got up and walked over to me.
"Hey aren't you the girl I bumped into earlier?" He said.
"Yea" I said.
"I didn't catch your name earlier, what's your name? He said.
" My names kaylee, what's your name" I said.
"My names drake, I like your name by the way" he smiled at me.
"Thanks." I said.
(Then I knew where I had seen him before, he was drake the rapper and singer.)
"Your welcome." Drake said.
"So what brings you to the beach at like 9.?" I said.
"Um well...At night sometimes I like to come to the beach and just think about things. Like my life, career, family, friends, etc. What brings you here?" Drake said.
"I left my phone here earlier, I think i lost it when I fell it must of dropped out of my pocket." I said.
" I can help ya look for it hun, if ya want.?" Drake said.
"Ok that would be great thanks." I said.
Courtney's POV
I was waiting at the hotel with Isabella and Hannah waiting for Kaylee. She should of done been back by now. It only takes around 10-15 minutes to walk to the beach, but it's been almost a hour since she left. I thought to myself "what could of happened to her?, maybe she just ran into someone she new." But I had different thoughts. ... So I told Isabella to come with me to look for Kaylee. And off we went into the night.
Kaylee's POV.
As me and drake were looking for my phone it only kept getting darker and darker. I didn't want to walk back to our hotel in the dark especially not alone...
"Aye, Kay is this yo phone.?" Drake said.
"Um yeah, thank you so much." I said.
"No prob." Drake said.
"Um well I gotta get going. So I guess I might see you later." I said.
"Ok, well bye see ya later I guess." Drake said."
"Bye." I said.
As I started walking away drake screamed " yo hold on."
So I stood there while he ran over towards me.
"Aye, let me see your phone real fast." Drake said.
"Um ok." I said.
"Here ya go." He said.
"Um,thanks. Well I gotta get going." I said.
"Ok, see ya later." He said.
As I started walking off of the beach I turned around and noticed that drake had set back down, and he stared right back out at the ocean. I wanted to know why he set back down and didn't leave to, it was getting late. Well I guess I'll see him later. I don't know. And I started walking back to the hotel.
Isabella's POV.
Me,And Courtney have been looking for Kaylee for about 15 minutes. We had just gotten to the beach about 5 minutes ago and didn't see her no where. But we did see a guy seating on the beach and thought he may have seen her, so we walked over to him.
"Um excuse me sir.?" I said.
He looked up. "Yea.?" He said.
"We were wondering if you seen our friend.? She had brown hair, emerald green eyes, she is about 5'6." I said.
"Is her name kaylee.?" He said.
"Um yea, how did you know.?" I said.
" I met her earlier when she had first came to the beach, and I bumped into her eariler and she fell, so I helped her back up. And then i just seen her again and we talked for awhile." He said.
"Oh ok, do you know where she went, cause she came back to find her phone.?" I said.
"She told me she was walking back to y'all's hotel." He said
"Oh well I guess we will walk back, thank you." I said.
"Uh-huh, welcome." He said.
As we started walking back we seen a figure walking and as we got closer we seen it was kaylee. So we started walking closer to her. But we stayed a distance behind her. So she wouldn't notice us. Then she turned and walked up the stairs to enter the hotel. We followed her in there and she took the elevator. And since we were on the 6th floor out of 10 floors, it would take her a little while to get to our room. So me and Courtney quickly ran up the stairs. We beat kaylee up there and made it in before she got there. Then she came in...
Kaylees POV
When I was walking back to the hotel I felt like someone was behind me, but I just shook it off and didn't think about it. So as I seen my hotel right up ahead, I started walking faster. I made it to my hotel and up the stairs. As I entered the hotel I went over to the elevator and got in. I reached the floor my room was on, so I walked over to my room and unlocked the door. I walked in and saw Isabella and Courtney seating on the couch.
"Hey, what's up.?" I asked.
"Nothin just chillin." Courtney said.
Yep, also just bored." Isabella said.
"Oh cool, where's Hannah.?" I asked.
"Asleep." They both said.
"Oh." I said.
"Yep well I'm gonna go to sleep to, so goodnight." Isabella said.
"Kay, night." Me and Courtney said.
As Isabella went into her and Hannah's room, me and Courtney just sat on the couch not saying nothin.
Me and Courtney are cousins and we usually talk all the time but something had to be up cause she would of done said something by now. I just shook it off tho. And said I was going to go to bed. So I walked over to mine and Courtney's room. As I was laying In bed I started drifting off to sleep. Then I fell into a deep sleep.
