-What is the 'Timer'?
Well, the timer is a countdown to when you're going to meet your soul mate. It doesn't start counting down till your soul mate, guy or girl, has got a timer too.
-How do you know when you've found them?
On the last day at midnight, your time will make a beeping noise. When you actually meet the person, and make eye contact, it will beep again but only louder.
-How do you know they're 'the one'?
You don't. It's just matter of fate that'll bring you both together. You'll always see them places, you'll have random encounters, etc.

Carly is a normal fourteen year old. But, one day a new think called 'Timer' comes out.
When everyone starts to get it, theirs all have a time to when they'll meet that special person.
When she gets hers, there's no number.
She doesn't know what to feel. Upset? No. Sad? No. Confused? Yes.
She feels this way because she wants to know her soulmate.
