Chapter 6

Heyyy there!!!! Wow it’s been so long and I’m really sorry that I’ve just left this, it’s been such a busy year and I didn’t find the time to just sit down and write. The reason I decided to sit down and write this chapter is because today is 1 year since I posted the first chapter, and in 1 year only 5 chapters have been updated which is really bad on my part. This hasn’t been updated since like February! Also, I saw Reece again during the week which was even more inspiration to update! Wow 1 year since I put this up, I can’t believe it!!!! Also, Girls (All Around The World) is amazingggg :)

I have no idea what this chapter will be because I had a plan for all the others but I can’t just skip to something else because it won’t make sense, I need to continue where I left off so here we go :P

“Come in”

I opened the door and went inside, shutting the door behind me. He had his back to the door.

“Reece!”

He quickly spun around with a shocked look on his face as I ran towards him, jumping into his opened arms.

“Ashlie”

Chapter 6:

He lifted me up and spun me around, just as happy to see me as I was to see him.

“Surprise!” I laughed.

“What are you doing here?” he asked as he put me back on the ground.

“Here as in Sydney or here as in your dressing room?”

“Both!”

“Well I came to Sydney with your family to see you perform and well I couldn’t leave without seeing you first so here I am”

“Where’s everyone else?” he questioned.

“Well your parents and Liv and Philippa went outside and Georgie didn’t want to get in trouble by coming back here so she went with the others”

“Ahahahahahaha only you could manage to sneak back here without anyone but Georgie knowing where you are,” We both laughed before we settled back into silence.

“I’ve missed you Ashlie” he said honestly.

“I’ve missed you too Reecey” I said just as sincerely. We sat down on the couch in the dressing room and just talked, catching up on everything that’s been happening since we last saw each other. I could have sat there for hours with Reece, just talking about anything. After a while I figured that the rest of the family would be waiting for me, but honestly I’d rather stay here for a little bit longer with Reece than leave now. We once again settled into a comfortable silence just staring into each other’s eyes, his eyes flickered down to my lips and then back up to my eyes. He very, very slowly started leaning in, hands resting on my hips, I knew what was going to happen but I didn’t do anything to stop it as I shut my eyes and began to lean in and meet him half way. Our lips were just about touch when a there was a knock on the door and we both jumped back in shock.

“Reece we’re going to head back to the house soon, so get ready to leave,” Someone said from the other side of the door. We heard whoever was outside walk back down the hall. We sat there for a little while longer and I was just about to say something when my phone started ringing in my pocket.

“Hello”

“ASHLIE, WHERE ARE YOU? We’ve been waiting out here for ages, come on we want to go back to the hotel!” said Georgina.

“Alright, alright I’ll meet you out the front in a minute,” I said before hanging up the phone and turning back to face Reece.

“Sorry, I have to go, they’re all waiting for me,” I said to him.

“Yeah, I have to go too, I’m glad I got to see you”

“Yeah, me too,” I wrapped my arms around him and gave him a big hug.

“See you soon,” I said as I walked out the door.

“Bye Ashlie,” Reece said as I shut the door behind me. What the hell almost happened back there, if someone didn’t knock on the door, we would have kissed! Yeah, I didn’t do anything to stop it and yeah, I probably wouldn’t have minded that much if we did kiss but still, I didn’t expect it. As all these thoughts clouded my mind I found myself almost out the front, wondering if they’ll be angry about me wandering off.

“Sorry guys, I didn’t mean to make you wait so long for me,” I said as I found myself in front of the family.

“Where were you Ashlie, we were worried about you,” Deb said to me.

“I went to see Reece”

“What! How?” Liv said surprised.

“You know what I’m like, I found a way,” I grinned as we all jumped into the car and headed back to the hotel

Well, this chapter even shocked me! Was not prepared at all to write this chapter, like I said earlier I had a plan for how this story would go but I couldn’t skip to it, I needed to put a chapter between the last one and the next one so I just came up with this on the spot. I’m sorry if you’ve waited so long and this wasn’t as good as you expected. Although honestly I don’t know how many people will actually read this. I didn’t expect them to almost kiss in this chapter, that was supposed to come later, I had a plan of how it would go, but I had nothing to put in this chapter and so I needed to think of something interesting and like I said, on the spot, it was the best I could come up with. I just needed to get a chapter up for you guys so here it is. I will honestly try to keep updating this without leaving it so long.
