Hi my name is Lolly and I'm hiking in woods with my Nana. We love to go exploring. Nana always finds fun and interesting to do in the woods. Today we are looking for pretty stones to decorate my room. We were approaching the lake that we go fishing in when I heard something strange.
"What was that", I asked Nana.
"I didn't hear anything", said Nana.
We kept on walking deeper into the woods. Suddenly Nana stopped and looked around.
"I heard something this time", Nana said.
"I'm scared", I told Nana
Nana told me to relax because there are always noises in the woods you just have to figure out what they are. First we have to figure out what direction it came from.
"It came from behind us", I told Nana.
"Great let's turn around and go back that direction very slowly", Nana said, "And keep your ears and eyes open".
We started walking back in the direction we had come. We heard something in the bush. Nana signaled to me to be quiet. I was scared and did not want to move but Nana walked toward the bush. I wanted to close my eyes but I couldn't I had to try to be brave for Nana.
"Run!" Nana screamed.
"What was it Nana?" I asked.
Nana just looked at me her eyes were wide open, she was pale and she was shaking. I became more scared because I had never seen Nana scared before.
