"Chloe you ready?" Asks Dave as he enters the room. "Yep" I take one more glance in the mirror then tail after Dave down stairs.
"Oh Chloe you look stunning" my mum scans my light cream jumper with shorts. "Thanks mum" I smile. "Take your jacket because you will be cold" my mum passes me my Denaim jacket. "I'm fine mum honestly" I refuse. "Shore?" She smiles. "Yes muuummm" I reply with a giggle. "Don't blame me if your cold" my mum gives me a light hearted grin then opens the front door.
On the journey to the restraint I could not help feeling unsure.
Maybe I could jump out the car and just say I fell out?.....

"So who are we actually meeting?" I ask. "Some old friends of mine, I think they have a son in your year" replies Dave as he turns his head towards me. "What his name?" "I'm not to sure, I've forgotten" Dave scratches his head and thinks. I take a huge gulp.
Uh oh.

I pop my ear phones in and put my music on full volume for the journey.

"Here we are" Dave drives up to the car park and parks the car. "Looks like a nice place" says my mum as she scans the outside building. I hop out of the car with Dave and mum and walk into the restraint.
They have music on In the back ground and its busy.
There are waiters ever where.
God it's hectic!
"Over hear" Dave's looks round the corner and leads us to a table.
Okay here we go.
I hesitantly walk round the corner behind my mum.
"Hiya! Nice to see you" a middle aged, dressed nicely women stands up from the table. "Hiya Brenda you alright" Dave's kisses her on the cheek. "Hiya Jane" then a well dressed man appears from the table and kisses my mum on the cheek. "Hello Joshua" replies my mum.
I walk over until I'm standing right next to my mum.
Then it catches my eye.

"You must be Chloe" Brenda walks up to me giving me a tight hug and a smile. "Yes" I reply with an exchanged smile.

He looks just as stunned to see me as I do to see him.
