I never asked for this. Not vocally at least. I never asked to be ripped away from my home and normal life I took for granted. And I was just beginning to find my way through this twisted maze people call life. Do you ever reach a point where everything just clicks into place? You know what you're gonna do, you know how to get there, you know what you want to do with your life. Well, I just go that.
The next day, everything changed.
Suddenly and inexplicably, the moon and sun and basically everything just stopped moving. Like magic, all things in space just froze. It didn't change anything else, not black hole or being swallowed by the sun, life kept going on normally. The sun and moon never left our sky and slowly, most of the world forgot about what we called night.
I figured that more people would freak out, more than just baffled scientists and astronomers. But no, every now and then you'll see someone standing in front of a church shouting about how "God is punishing us"; but people remained eerily calm-too busy with their daily lives I suppose. In fact, my best friend Caly was suddenly in a much brighter mood, matching our constant sun. I never gave it a second thought, but I wish I did.
This was all three years ago.
