"There's no way." Luke mumbled looking at everyone frantically. "How old are you?"

"I just turned 20 on July 16th." His eyes grew impossibly wider.

"Twins?!" Ashton basically screamed.

"There's just no way! I'm calling mum." Luke pulled out his phone and dialed who I supposed was his mom.

Luke's POV--

I pulled out my phone, ringing mum. Within a few rings she answered.

"Luke?"

"Mum! I have a very serious question that I need answered." I urged into the phone.

"What honey?"

"Well sitting in the same room as me is a girl named Mady. Her last name is Hemmings, her birthday is July 16th which she turned 20, and get this," I paused for effect, "her moms name is Liz but she's never met her because she lived with her dad."

The other end sat silent. Almost like she was pondering over what to say next. My eyes scanned the room as everyone's eyes stayed sat on me.

"Luke, honey, I was going to tell you someday I just didn't know how,"

"Tell me what?" My voice now came out hoarse.

"When your father left when you were a year old, he took your twin sister with him. Jack and Ben have faint memories of her but your father and I agreed to keep him and her separate from our lives."

I had no clue how to respond to that. To answer my mum who just told me I have a twin I was never told about. A twin that I had to find out about on my own.

"I-I've gotta go mum. I'll talk to you later, love you." And with that I hung up the phone, proceeding to drag my fingers through my hair.

"So can you tell me about our dad?" I finally said something after about five minutes of my head in my hands.

"Wait so it's true?" Michael piped up from the other side of me.

"Yeah," the word came out faint but everyone still hear it all the same.

"Um, yeah of course." Mady's unreadable eyes stared into mine.

"Cal, Mikey, do you guys mind if we go into your room to talk?" I looked between both of them and neither of them cared.

"Go ahead, take your time." Calum piped up, taking his arm away from Mady so she could stand up.

Calums POV--

Luke and Mady exited the room without another word. Mike, Ash and I just sat there in shock. Luke has a twin! Not to mention the twin is the person I found. The person I'm slowly falling for.

"Uh, movie?" Ashton broke the silence.

"Please." Michael said and laid down next to Ash.

About thirty minutes into the movie, Arzaylea walked into the room looking around for Luke. Her eyes glanced at each of us with a disgusted face.

"Where's Luke?" She demanded waiting for an answer.

"Talking with Mady in mine and Cals room." Michael absentmindedly told her without giving her any second thoughts.

"He's what?" She screeched.

Literally screeched. Piercing all of our ears from the high pitch volume she had just reached. Her face contorted as she began to storm out of the room.

"Wait, it's not what it seems like!" I jumped off the couch to follow her before she made nothing into something.

"I told that little bitch to stay away from my man!" She yelled as she swiped the card on our door.

"Arzaylea, trust me there's nothing to worry about." Once again she ignored me proceeding into the room.

I followed after her. She stormed in but stopped dead in her tracks almost causing me to slam into her. My eyes trailed to where hers were and saw why she has a abruptly stopped. Luke and Mady sat there hugging, crying their eyes out into each other's shoulders.

Arzaylea cleared her throat, making the two pull apart and look our way. "What the fuck is going on here?"

I pushed around her to go sit with Mady. She immediately wrapped her arms around me. Luke wiped his eyes before standing up. He gave Mady a faint smile then walked over to Arzaylea.

"Come on, I'll explain all this in our room." Then the pair exited the room.

"You alright, babe?" She smiled when the last word left my mouth.

"I'm good I guess. I just finished telling Luke about our dad. He um, died of cancer about a year ago." She buried her head in my chest as I tightened my grip around me.

"I'm so sorry." I whispered into her hair as she cried against me.

About five minutes later she decided we should go back to the room with Michael and Ashton. They both looked up to our arrival but soon set their attention back on the screen. We took our place once again on the couch, then began watching the movie that was almost over.

With only a few minutes left of the movie Luke came back into the room. Of course Arzaylea wasn't with him, she was probably still mad even though he explained what was going on. Luke didn't say a word to any of us as he laid on the empty bed.

Mady wiggled out of my arms to go sit next to him. In no way was I offended. I mean they did just find out they're twins and Luke learned his dad has passed. The two began whispering back and forth so quiet that not even I could hear them.

It made me extremely happy that now Mady would have family. I don't know the whole story about it but I know it's a touchy subject. Hopefully she'll open up more since she not only has me but Luke now too.

"Will you pretty please?" Luke hopped up and begged Mady about who knows what.

"Of course! I don't have anything planned so might as well." He practically jumped on top of her giving her a hug.

"What's going on?" My curiosity asked aloud.

"I agreed to tag along on tour." Mady told me as she came over and sat on my lap.

"This makes me so happy, baby." I could see the effect I had on her as I whispered in her ear.

"Cal and I will talk with management tomorrow morning but I already know they'll let you." Luke piped up full of excitement.

Mady just sat there and grinned with her arms around my neck. Her face was nuzzled into my chest. How is someone I just met today already having such an effect on me?
