I know what's happening

(Hey guys, just wanted to let you know, yes this is a school fanfiction, if you don't like it leave now, Sebastian and Claude, Lau and probably some others are all students in this school. I think that's all, so enjoy!)

Ciel was woken up as usual by Sebastian, and quickly checked his phone. He got a text phone Lau, probably when he was high, with yet another useless theory about butterflies. Ciel sighed and shook his head, just deleting the message as he moved on. He quickly checked and refreshed the page to see if Alois had texted him. Nothing. As per usual. He supposed he should be used to it, but him and Alois started going out a few weeks ago, so Ciel had expected something.

You see, there was something Ciel knew about their relationship, but didn't want to fully accept. Alois didn't love Ciel. In the end, Ciel had always known he had loved a boy in Lau's year, called Claude. Alois had gravitated from boy to boy, either trying to make Claude jealous or just to try and get over him. Ciel knew this, but he still couldn't help but just hope, that one day, maybe Alois may love him.

This hope was what powered him to send him a message, get to school early, and even wait alone for him. With Ciel being so busy, he didn't even have time to annoy Sebastian, much to Sebastian's relief.

When Alois came in, he just waved at Ciel and talked to his other friends, one of which looked like he was about to kill someone when he saw Ciel. Ciel nervously smiled and slowly backed away to the bathrooms. In truth, Ciel didn't have many friends, he didn't think that he needed any up until this moment. He only had one friend that would always be by his side, Elizabeth. Elizabeth used to like Ciel, but soon got over it, just becoming his sometimes annoyingly hyper friend.

Ciel hid in the cubicle while realising you could count the number of friends he had on one hand and yet again sighing. He sat on the floor, blankly starring at it, feeling as though he didn't actually know what he wanted for once.

He was snapped out of his thoughts when Alois' friends came in, all talking loudly. Ciel grimaced, as much as he loved Alois, he couldn't stand his friends. As Ciel listened in, he heard them discussing someone.

"He's honestly just using him, I seriously think we should confront him about it guys."

"Yeah, I know, but we'd need permission from Alois first."

Has Alois caused a fight with someone? Before he had time to think about that, the bell rang, much to Ciel's utter relief. But that was when he realised, Alois' friends loved to skip lessons. And so Ciel prepared for a long hour of suffering.
