Half the Story.

"How do you know she is innocent?" The past few days I had a million and one questions that were keeping me up, giving me a headache and contemplating on finding Clio.

"Look, it's hard to explain. Clio did kill but it wasn't out of rage or anything. I think she was physically and emotionally abused by Colin and Warren. Look I don't know the full story okay, I knew Warren and he was shit scared once Colin was found dead he knew he was next."

I was at Aaron's house helping him pack to move, along with all the negativity following him he needed to make new choices and one of them was move. His cleansing went well and all we needed to was to leave this toxic home, he was now moving closer to my which was great incase you know Clio made another unannounced visit.

"Do you think anyone will know the real story?"

"Only Clio, probably her family too. Why do you think her dad would be so protective? He doesn't want any man getting close to her, he knows what a man or men dos to her." He raised his eyebrows and headed off with a box.

"Have you heard from her?" Jay came popping out from behind the table.

"How do you know what's going on?"

"Aaron told us, he was worried Zak and you should be too. Clio is something extremely fragile." He placed the box down.

"And how do you know? She has fucking crept into my house and gotten in, she is nuts!" I whispered.

"Ash knows her story, the true story and I'm telling you Zak you need to be cautious of her she isn't a murderer or psychopath she is in need of help."

Ash knew? Could my questions be answered? I could contain my emotions, I slid back on the wall and held my knees to my chest. I had a big smile on my face but tears too were falling down.

"I need to see Ash." I demanded.

"She'll be here in a few minutes, she will tell us all."

Ash came in all happy and cheerful, as she approached us she saw all our sour looks.

"What happen? Where's Jay?" She froze.

"Jay said you know Clio's story." I slowly pull a chair out. "Sit, please."

"Zak you're scarring me." She took a few steps back and backed up into Jay. "Shit Jay!" She squealed.

"Come on Ash, help Zak?"

She nodded her head and approached the chair.

"It's not a pretty story."

"I don't care! I need to know!" I shouted at her. "Sorry."

"Clio met Colin when she was younger and he was a bit older than her. She was swept away by him, so she devoted her time and money to him she gave him everything and he took everything away from her. He neglected her from her family, friends and work. By the time a year rolled around she was stuck living in his basement, alone, skinnier than a stick, abused and pregnant."

We all made little horrifying gasps.

"He came down the basement to get his fix of having Sed with her and he notice how her body changed. He lost the plot and lashed out, belting her with steel poles and anything that could kill her but he only managed to damage her skin and bones the baby still lived. She ended up giving birth by herself in the basement, Colin went away for a year so he wouldn't have to deal with it and he sent Warren once a week to visit her and make sure she had everything. Warren and Clio got close and he promised Clio he'll take her and the baby away to live in peace as a family."

"That's why he couldn't hang out on Wednesday's and he was planning on leaving!" Aaron gave his little opinion.

"Ssh! Continue." I gestured back to Ash.

"Eventually Colin had to come back and he walked in on Clio and the baby named Zak and he went into a furious range, he tied Clio up and started to belt the shit out of her, raped her one more time and then Warren came through he looked at Clio and ignored what was happening and just watched. Colin grabbed little Zak and snapped his neck, obviously dying on impact." She got a bit teary.

"Warren just watched. Clio broke out and killed Colin with her bare hands, deep scratches, huge but marks and a snapped neck. Warren disappeared and we all know where he went" she looked over to Aaron whose face had dropped.

"P-Paris?" He breathlessly spoke.

"Yes. Paris. And Clio went to Paris to have her final say."

"What happened? Clearly he dies?" I begged for more.

"I don't know what happened in Paris but yes Warren died. She had to flee the country for protection against the media and she needed to clear her head, her dad knew warren left to Paris so she followed him. Took her time and waited till her trial was over and then she pounced on Warren. The case was dismissed due to it being self defence and there were no witnesses to prove Clio killed Colin on a rampage."

"How did you know this Ash?"

"I was on jury duty and ofcourse we knew what happened. She was a wreck in court, they showed pictures of Zak all deformed and bruised. He killed her baby in front of her, she had every right to kill him." Ash laid her head on Jay for comfort and support.

"Doesn't really explain the psychoness."

"How can you not see it! She is scared of men!" Jay fought back. "She'd be spying on you so she knew your every move, she knew what you were going to do before you did it."

Jay made sense, it all made sense. But I need to know what happened with Warren, the puzzle wasn't completed yet.

"I'm going to see her" I grabbed my keys and ran out.

Maybe now we could be together?
