Chapter 22

*2 Weeks Later*
*Day of X Factor audition*

Danni's P.O.V

''Danni wake up, you need to get ready for your audition'' Chloe said, shaking me. I ot up and went into the bathroom and had a shower. When I was done I dried myself and got dressed. I was wearing a pair of beige high waist shorts, a white t--shirt with a skull on it, a black blazer, red 'Cher Lloyd hairband' basically, a bandana rolled up into the shape of a hairband, black ankle converse and my lucky necklace. When I was dressed I done my hair and make up and went downstairs. ''What song are you singing later?'' Daniel asked as I sat beside him. ''I was going to sing A-Team by Ed Sheeran but I changed my mind, I'm going to sing Wrecking Ball instead'' I said. ''So your not playing guitar?'' Eimear asked. ''Nah, if I get through to the next round I will'' I said. ''What do you mean 'if I get through'?'' Laura shouted. ''They might not think I'm good enough?'' I said. My mam came into the sitting room. ''Everyone ready?'' She asked, I began to feel sick. ''Danni you alright? You look abit pale'' Chloe said. ''Yeah I'm fine, just nervous'' I said. We all walked out to the cars and drove to the audtions. Some went with Kieron and Esther and the rest came in my mams car. I took out my phone and start taking slefies with the girls, messing while we were in our way. I uploaded some of the pictures to Instagram and some in Twitter as well. I decided to tweet my fans that I already gained over YouTube.

''And we are here'' My mam said, parking beside Kieron. We all got out and went to sign my name. I got my number and waited in line. ''I actually cannot believe I'm here'' I said. ''Look here's Dermot O'Leary'' Chloe said. Dermot came over and talked to us, he's really nice. ''Okay, all you have to do is sit on that seat and introduce yourself and then say something about yourself'' A cameraman instructed. ''Hi, my name is Danni, I'm 16 years old and I'm from Dublin, Ireland'' I said to the camera. ''I moved here about a year ago with my mam, my brother and my dad and I've been singing since I was a little girl, I was always putting on shows for my family, singing is what I've wanted to do'' I added. I went into the hall and waited for my number to be called out for my audition. ''Oh my god, I'm so nervous'' I said. ''Relax, I'm pretty sure you'll be fine'' I heard a voice say behind me, I turned around to see a girl about 18/19. ''Thanks, I'm Danni, you look familiar'' I said, standing up and shaking her hand. ''I'm Melanie, Melanie McCabe, I've auditioned before'' She smiled, that's when it clicked! She's auditioned before. ''I knew I seen you somewhere! Your really good'' I smiled. ''Awh thank you, I'm sure your good as well'' Melanie laughed. ''Thanks, you can sit with us if you want'' I smiled, motioning to the empty chair beside Matt. ''No its fine, my family are over there, thanks for the offer though'' Melanie smiled. ''Alright, good luck with your audition'' I smiled. ''Thanks, good luck to you too, I'm sure you'll be amazing'' Melanie smiled, hugging me. After a few minutes, my number was called. ''Wish me luck'' I smiled. I hugged everyone and walked into the room.

''Hi hunny, how are you?'' Nicole asked. ''Nervous'' I laughed. ''Whats your name?'' Gary asked. ''I'm Danni'' I smiled. ''And how old are you Danni?'' Sharon said. ''I'm 16'' I replied. ''And who inspired you to sing?'' Louis asked. ''No one really, its always been something I wanted to do since I was a baby'' I lauged. ''So Danni, what are you going to sing for us today?'' Sharon asked. ''Ehm I'm going to sing Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus'' I said. ''Okay, good luck hunny'' Nicole smiled.

''Wow... you voice is... wow'' Nicole said. ''Your 16? Your voice is unreal for a 16 year old'' Sharon said. ''It takes alot to make Nicole speachless, you must be special, you voice is beautiful, you'll go far Danni'' Gary said. ''I'm speechless, you voice is amazing'' Louis said. ''Lets vote, Gaz you first'' Nicole said. ''This isn't a hard one, its a yes from me. ''I agree with Gary, it's a yes from me'' Sharon said. '' You'll go far with that voice, its a yes from me'' Louis said. ''You've got 4 yes's hunny, your through to the arena'' Nicole smiled. ''Oh my god! Thank you all, I wont let you down, I promise!!'' I smiled. I ran out of the room to be smothered by hugs. ''I legit cannot believe this!!'' I said, hugging everyone. ''I'm so proud of you baby'' Daniel said, picking me up, spining me around and kissing me. ''Thanks for being there for me everyone, it meansa lot'' I smiled. ''I say we go out for a meal later to celebrate'' My dad said. ''I'm so proud of you hun'' My mam said, kissing my cheek

(A/N) I'm going to be really busy from now until June because I have Junior Cert so I'll try update as much as I can.
