Crush or Crushed?

<There's a reason why they call the person you like a crush.>
It's because when you try to make a conversation with them; they're deaf.
You're crushed.
It's because when you look at them hoping they catch you staring; they never do.
You're crushed.
It's because your obsessive mind made up words and dreams that haven't happened; you come to reality as the teacher yells at you to pay attention.
You're crushed.
It's because when you finally get to talk to them your sub-conscious has already made up its own words coming out of their mouth while you're in awe mode when all they said was if you could lend them a pencil.
You're crushed.
It's because when you walk into the hallway and inconspicuously bump into them; you see that they're holding hands with someone else.
You're crushed.
But the good thing about crushes is that you can always keep imagining what could and can happen even if the outcomes don't come as we wanted them to be.
