"Leah! Wake up!" I could hear the giddy excitement in Kailey's voice as she shook me up, there was something important she needed to tell me. "Okay, okay, I'm awake. What is it?" "I got an invitation to VidCon!!"
In the past year Kailey had come from video's of her making cupcakes with about 20 subscribers to DIY's, fashion and beauty tutorials, and hilarious vlogs. The chanel KayStar now has just over 2 million subscribers! Being invited to VidCon made this all feel so much more real.
"That's amazing Kailey!" I could see how happy she was and I was so proud.
"There's something else too, will you be my 'plus one'?" Kailey wants me to go to VidCon with her! I can't believe it! "Yes! I would love to! But, why would you choose me?" "You're my best friend in the entire world! I wouldn't even be going to VidCon without your help getting me this far!" "Awww thanks!" "Come on let's eat breakfast before the pancakes get cold."

"Oh my god Leah!!" Kailey whispered to me. We had eaten breakfast and were painting each other's nails on Kailey's small back porch. The sun dried my fresh paint quickly, but it also melted my chocolate popsicle.
I looked at her questioningly. "Weston is going to be at VidCon!" Kailey has a huge crush on Weston Koury. "Of course he will be there, he's Weston Koury!" "Ya, this is just so exciting and crazy and...oh he's so cute!" She got lost in her daydreams as "Marry Me" by Jason Derulo started playing.
Sudenly Kailey snapped out of her dreams. "Ya know, I'm gonna be making out with Weston, so we need to find you a hot star!" "No way!" I play punched her. Kailey was always the one who boys were attracted to, the one that had dated, even before she was famous she was the hot one. I never had more than a schoolgirl crush. "Leah! There are some pretty charming guys out there. Look at the boys from Our Journey, Zach, Brennen, Mario, and Nick!" "No one from Our Journey would go out with me!" "Fine. But if you had to chose one of them," she prompted me. "Uh Mario, I guess. I mean only if I was forced to."
