One Evening a girl came home from school and found that the house was empty. Her mother had left a sticky note on the fridge for her. It said that her father was working late, her mother was out shopping and her 2 younger brothers were at soccer practice.
She was alone in the house. The girl locked the front door just in case, then she put her mobile phone on the hall table, hung her keys on the hook and went upstairs to her room to change clothes. As she was getting dressed she saw a sticky note on her bed. She picked it up and read it it.
It said. "Someone is in the house" she assume it was her younger brothers playing a trick on her so she crumpled up the note. Okay very funny guys. She said. What happened did you two miss soccer practice? No one answered. Hey i know you guys are here! She yelled.
If i find out that you went through my stuff again, your dead. The girl said. The girl went downstairs to fix her self a snack. When she opened up the fridge and discovered another sticky note. It said "There's nobody here except for you and me". She dropped the note and said Hey guys this is not funny anymore stop it. She said. There was no answer.
The girl went too the front door and tried to turn the knob but it was locked. She turned around to grab her keys but the hook she had hung them on was empty. Then the girl glanced down at the hall table and saw that her mobile phone has disappeared as well. On the table there was another sticky note.
It read "your not going anywhere". She screamed and picked up the phone to call the police. There was no dial tone. She grabbed the phone line and to her horror she realized that it has been cut. There was another note lying on the phone it said. "No phone, no police, no way out!" trembling with fear the girl ran to the back door. When she tried to turn the handle she realized it was also locked too.
Just then she spotted another note on the back door. It simply said. "Look up". So she looked up and saw her pet cat speard through the heart pinned to the ceiling with a kitchen knife. She screamed in terror and ran to the nearest window. She tried punching and kicking but she could not smash the glass. It wouldn't even crack there was another note on the window it said. "You cant even catch a break can you?". The frightened girl desperately tried to think of what she should do.
She needed a knife to defend herself. She ran into the kitchen but when she pulled it open it was empty. All of the knifes was gone and there place was another note. It said. "Children should not play with sharp things". She ran upstairs to her bedroom and locked the door. She checked under her bed. Nobody was there she sighed in relief. Then all of a sudden the TV turned on by its self it was loud and static. On the screen was another note it said. "I have you where i want you". The girl flew into panic and started yelling and screaming HELP! HELP! SOMEONE HELP ME! Just then she remembered her laptop. She flipped open the lid and quickly sent an email to her best friend. "HELP THIS IS NOT A JOKE CALL THE COPS! THERE IS SOMEONE IN MY HOUSE!"
Minutes later she heard the sound of sirens outside. The police arrived and broke down the front door and two officers burst into her bedroom found her cowering and shaking and quivering in fear. The police searched the whole house from top to bottom examining every nook and cranny, but no one as they were interviewing her. One of them found a sticky note on her back. He pulled it and handed it to her.
It said "I was this close"
