A New Start

Chapter 2: A New Day

Once school let out, Claire's mom would wait for her outside and then she would go home and she would have to do chores until it was time for dinner. Her father wouldn't be home most of the time for dinner, instead he would mostly be at business meetings. Claire liked her father being there for dinner, with her father being there for dinner, he made her feel like she was safe and protected from the dangers outside.

Claire's mom made Spaghetti, Claire liked it when her mom made spaghetti, it was her favorite food. Once she finished her dinner, she would do her homework, and then she would take a shower, put in her pajamas and go to sleep. When her alarm clock went off, she got up took a shower and put on some clothes and went downstairs for breakfast but this time when she went down stairs, her mom and dad, were in the living room talking. Once they seen Claire, they motioned for her to come into the living room, she sat down on the recliner, her dad said " Claire, as you know since I work for a business, sometimes I might get promotions sometimes, so what I'm saying is that I got a promotion at work, but we have to move to Florida" and Claire said " But dad I like it here and plus Nicole and I like to hang out together"  and her dad said " I know it's going to be hard but we were not moving for two weeks so you will still have time to hang out with Nicole".

After that, Claire went to go eat breakfast before she had to head off for school. Instead of her mom taking her to school, her dad took her to school, he wanted to be with her until they had to move. Usually her her dad never took her to school and she was actually happy that her dad was taking her school.

Once her dad dropped her off to school, she went straight to the cafeteria, so she could tell Nicole about her moving to Florida, as soon as she went into the cafeteria, she went to Nicole first thing, and they sat down and Claire said " Hey Nicole, My dad got a promotion at work and I have to move to Florida, but not for another two weeks". Nicole said " I wish you didn't have to move but at least we still have two weeks to see each other until you have to move" .  After that they went to class, Claire got picked up during 4th block. Her mom had picked Claire up because she wanted Claire to get new clothes so she will fit in with people in Florida.
