The Breakup

Kirstie's POV
I was home watching a movie with Jeremy(A/N: let's pretend their watching Warm Bodies just because I love that movie.) Once the movie was done my mom called me into the kitchen.

"Kirstin please come here"

"Okay mom, I'll be right back Jeremy"

"Okay"

I walked into the kitchen where my mom was she didn't seem to happy she didn't look mad she just looked upset, now I'm getting worried.

"Yes mom"

"Honey please sit we need to talk"

"Oh okay what's wrong you don't look to happy"

"Well that's the thing honey we have to move"

"What, where, why!?"

"We're moving to Arlington, Texas because you're dad and I found a job there

I started to cry I can't believe this is happening how am I going to tell Jeremy I don't wanna break up with him but I think I might have to.

"Honey please don't cry it will be okay I promise"

"How mom I have to leave Jeremy and my friends"

"Kirstin I'm really sorry but this job pays well and we need the money"

"Fine when are we moving"

"Three days"

"Three days!?! Why didn't you tell me this sooner"

"Well I knew how you were going to react"

"I'm going to go tell Jeremy I guess"

I was really scared to tell Jeremy because I just don't wanna lose him this is the worst day ever.

"Um J..Jeremy"

"What's wrong Kirstie, why are you crying"

"Jeremy we have to break up"

"What why"

"I'm movie to Texas my parents got a job there, I don't wanna leave or for us to break up"

"Shh it's okay"

"So you're n..not mad?"

"Of course not plus I'm sure we will see each other again soon I promise"

"Really?"

"Really, now I'm going to leave so you can get packed I will see you soon bye Kirstie"

"Bye Jeremy"

I went upstairs to pack up my things sadly everything I was crying the whole time as well I really don't wanna leave this is my home now I might never see this place again.

Once I was finished packing my dad came into my room drunk he started yelling and hitting me I screamed for help and my mom soon came in and knocked my dad out with a bat.

"Honey are you okay did he hurt you"

"Yeah a little but I'm fine now thanks mom you're the best"

"As long as you're okay"
