A week later finally, our sacred furniture arrived. My smile was from ear to ear and i was hyper, very very hyper.

"KYLES THE FURNITURE IS HERE!!!" I squealed and she jumped at my sudden screaming.

"Finally. " She mumbled and rolled her eyes while quickly opening the door.

"Mrs.Hunt will you please sign here?" The tall skinny man asked her gently. She nodded and I stood behind her as him and his assistant put the furniture in our tiny home.

I was cleaning the kitchen after the had put the chairs and tables. When I noticed something different.

"Sir? Is it just me or is this table cracked?" I asked getting in my sassy mood. He ran over to where I was and looked closely at the small table. He looked up with pleading eyes.

"I'm sorry ma'am but it indeed is broken. Would you like me to bring you a brand new one?" I crossed my arms and looked up at him.

"Why is it broken sir? Did you throw it in the truck like fed-ex does back at my country? I don't thing you should do that with furniture. DO YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS TO SLEEP ON A MATTRESS FOR A WEEK AND A HALF IN FUCKING 20 DEGREES AND IM STRESSING OUT BECAUSE WE DIDNT GET THE FURNITURE UNTIL NOW... I DONT THINK YOU DO." I said as my voice was slightly raising every sentence I spoke.

"No ma'am I have and it's horrible. If you want I can bring you a brand new one after my shift ends and then I'll go home after? Curtesy of me." He questioned me with his guilty blue eyes.

"Yes that would be wonderful. I appreciate it sir. " He quickly turned around and told me he would be back later.

"Did you just fight with the delivery man?" Kylie asked crossing her arms while plopping herself on our new couch.

"Maybe I did but at least we're getting a table that isn't broken. " She chuckled and spread her feet across the couch.

-5 hours later-

The sweet delivery guy came and brought the table on his own time. After he put the table next to the couch and I thanked him.

"I'm sorry I screamed at you earlier I was just a bit mad. Thank you again for coming on your own time. " I said as we approached the door.

"It's really no problem. " He said as he walked to his car, turned around and waved.
