Chapter 24

HAPPY NEW YEARS!! So, I FINALLY updated!! YAY!! With Lily asleep in her crib, Liam and I sat on the loveseat in the livingroom watching a movie. During my time with Dante, the boys had gotten their own flatts, Harry, Brianna, Louis and Ali lived together in one, Zayn and his girlfriend in another, and Niall and Kayla together. All of the flatts were close to each other so we were never far from our family.

Liam had me stay with Niall and Kayla for a bit when we first got home becuase he wanted to surprise me with something. He spent the majority of his time trying to get things for Lily, clothes, and diapers and all that stuff for how ever much time she was a baby. Then he fixed up the flatt, cleaned up the left over food that he never ate, washed the clothes he had strewn all over the floor, threw away the broken chairs, and the vases that he broke because he couldnt save me, and had to fill in the holes that he punched in the walls. He couldnt bring himself to let Lily into that house in the condition it was in.

When he finally let me come home, it was the most amazing surprise I could have ever gotten. He had basically baby proofed the whole flatt. In the spare bedroom, he made a nursery with the help of the others, it was a powder pink color, pink drapes covering the windows and over the crib like you would see on an old fashioned four-poster bed. Her crib sat in the corner and was positioned at an angle so you could sit on both sides of it. He had also bought some toys and things that were princess like. When I asked him how he came up with the princess theme, he just said that Lily was his little princess and he wanted to treat her as such.

"You are amazing you know." I snuggled closer to him, letting his warmth lull me to sleep. We sat with the fireplace ablaze with a nice warm fire, watching Step Brothers.

"I do what I can. It's so nice to have my life back to normal. Well, as close to normal as we can get with Lily, but we'll manage."

"I missed you so much Liam. Every single night I cried myself to sleep thinking that I would never get to see you, feel you, or even remember what you looked like ever again." I looked up into his eyes that, even though his hair and the rest of him had changed slightly, were still the same amazing chocolate brown that they always had been. "And the worst part about that whole experience was that, Dante made me believe he loved me and loved Lily like any father should and he made me think that, even if I never saw my mate again, my life would have that happily ever after that I have dreamt about for so long. That Liam, is my worst fear now, not spending the rest of eternity with you by my side, not being able to watch Lily grow up to be an amazing young woman and then helping her become the best person that I know she can be. "

"Woah Riley. That is not going to happen because we have each other back and I'm not losing you ever again. You are my world now and I will do anything to keep you and Lily safe from any harm that comes our way." I couldn't help myself any longer. Reaching my hands up, I laced my fingers in his once wavy hair and planted my lips firmly on his. Our bodies molded together as the sparks flew all around us in a panicked frenzy. This had been the first time in what felt like forever that we had kissed like we had. I could tell by his sudden fierceness that he and I both knew what was coming.
