Who is that guy?

What's taking him so long to get ready it's just school. Its not that special I mean it is the first day of 10th grade but its like any other day.

Wait no its not! This year I'm going to join the book club again man did I miss book club. I wonder if Dominic will join this year as well.

We have known each other for a long time you could say that where childhood friends. He lives right next to me so we always go to and come back to school every day. We hang out all the time in school and at home I feel like no one knows me better then him. He's like a big brother to me.

As I walk past his house to go to school because he was taking so long too get ready.
"Hey, wait up!" He said running towards me when he finally catched up to me I asked
"Say, why are you wearing those dumb glasses?" I said taking them of him
"I feel bad that you have to wear those dumb glasses." He said taking his glasses back and putting them back on.
"You do know I need them to see right , its not for fashion." I said now walking to school
"Yeah I do but it's not fair why can't you just wear contacts?!" He asked me while waking in school. "I don't have a lot of money and I don't mind wearing glasses." I said now waking to my secret spot and Dominic following behind me as I do.
"But you look so pretty without them!" He said taking them off. "Are you saying I look ugly with them?" I said laughing and taking them back .
"You know what I mean don't make me look bad here!" He said laughing
"Hey are you joining book club this year aswell?" I asked him "You know I am! But I think I also want to join the soccer team." He said unsure
"You should your great at it!" I smiled trying to convince him to join.
"I will, should we go join book club now then I could go sign up for soccer." He said waking to the book club sign up and then to the soccer sign
"Oh man, I'm so sorry I can't be with you at lunch the try out are at lunch." He said worried.
"It's okay I'll be at the library so don't worry about me." I said trying to make him feel better about his choice.
"Thanks,but are you sure about this?" He asked me with his smile slowly fading away.
"Yeah I'm sure don't worry." I said "Thank you I owe you one!" He said with a toothly smile.
"Okay but hurry we need to go find out who our teacher's are this year!" I said waking to the sheets on a wall with the names of the teacher's and student name's. "Cool we have all most all of our classes together!" He said excited of the thou6of getting to be in the same classes.
"Yeah we do but we better get going I don't want to be late on the first day of school." I said walking to homeroom and Dominic following behind.

When we got to our first class I sat away from everyone and started to read Dominic was going to sit to my right but some guy beat him to it also I was sitting next to a window so he couldn't sit to my right. The guy has black messy hair, pale skin, black nerdy glasses, white bow and a black sweater . Not to mention he was reading my favorite book!

I don't think I have ever seen him before.

*Teacher walks in*

"Hello I'm Mr. Carter and I will be your homeroom teacher but first say hello to Ethan
Grayson he's from Scotland , UK would you like to say something about yourself?" Asked Mr. Carter as Ethan stood up and said "Sure, I lived in Scotland my whole life I love to read and so far this place is nice." He said as he looked at me with a smile then glared at Dominic and Dominic glared back at him.
