Lmao, this is long af. Sorry ~
You were now on your way home from your Korean Tuition lesson, the sun was beginning to gracefully set in the distance, it really did set off a warm vibe. You dug into your bag, swiping pass several pieces of paper, most likely the homework your Korean Tuition tutor set. Finally retrieving your phone from your bag, you then reached for your headphones from your pocket when something made a noise. Hoping it wasn't another piece of homework, you pulled it out of your pocket to find a small note. It was actually the note Yoongi gave to you earlier, his number neatly embedded within. Without hesitation you quickly saved his number into your phone, preventing you from losing it later on. You plugged your headphones into your phone and into your ears, then began listening to (Song Name) for the majority of your walk home, it was quiet and peaceful.
You arrived at your front door, already knowing what was awaiting you inside. Your mum either listening to her favourite song out loud or watching one of those drama's she always ends up crying to, very loudly. The door clicked as it opened, you stepped inside then went straight to the living room. Your jaw nearly dropped when you saw your mum.
"Mum?" You interrogated, approaching her on the sofa, she yearned at you. "Are... you okay? You don't normally... watch things like this." You informed her before peering back up at the TV screen. It was one of those programs you used to watch when you were a mere child.
"I remember how you loved this episode, you were always screaming with joy when they finally made a movie of this." Your mum spoke at such a calm tone, which was quite unusual. You saw your mum as someone bubbly, constantly being loud and joyful. What's got into her? You normally ignored your mum when she was telling flashbacks about when you were little, but this time you sensed something was up. You threw your (Backpack/Handbag/Satchel) on the floor beside the sofa before plopping yourself next to her.
"Really?... well I don't remember that." You told her, beginning to watch the programme too.
"It's okay, you probably don't remember anything that happened before you were the age of six." She whispered, but loud enough for you to her clearly.
"And what's that supposed to mean?" You questioned, turning your face to face her. Her eyes were still glued to the screen.
"Nothing, but how was your first day of school?" She perked up, dropping the last topic. You weren't going to even ask about her sudden mood changes or what she was going on about before.
"It was fine." You replied bluntly.
"You sure? You don't seem happy about it and you look exhausted, want me to make you a hot drink?" She asked concerningly. You just shook your head then told her you were okay.
"I just have a lot of homework to do today." You whined, rubbing your eyes.
"Don't do that," She swiped your hands away from your eyes. "They'll go all red and puffy, you don't want that." This woman is a true mother, constantly babying you, making sure you were fed, were happy and all the other things loving mum's do. "Make sure you do that homework later to get it out of the way." She informed you.
"Yeah sure."
"Did you make any new friends?" She asked enthusiastically, bringing up some type of conversation. You said yes, then told her their names, since she asked. She began smiling when you said 'Yoongi'.
"What are you smiling about?" You questioned.
"Oh... never mind, continue."
"No, seriously, do you know him or something?" You asked. She took her time to reply, like she was trying to make something up in her head before replying.
