Chapter 17: Hear No Evil!

I looked at the watch on my wrist to see that it had only been 3 hours and 15 minutes so far. I hope that we are almost finished with this tower, I really want to get away from that creep. The sooner, the better!
Soon we came to another huge open room but this time I could sense that we weren't alone.
"Momoko?"
"We're not alone....Show yourselves!" I yelled out.
Then three people wearing cloaks and handcuffs walked out of the shadows on the other side of the room.
"So what rule of three is this one?" I yelled at them.
"See no evil." One said.
"Hear no evil." Another stated.
"Speak no evil!" The last one said stepping forward.
"So let me guess we each go one on one with you guys. One of us won't be able to see, one won't be able to hear and the last won't speak...correct?" I asked crossing my arms.
"Haha...Correct. Very good...you must decide amongst yourselves, who will be blindfolded, muzzled and lose their hearing." The one I assumed to be the leader yelled.
"I will lose my sight, she will lose her hearing and he definitely will get the muzzle. I'm tired of his mouth anyway!" I yelled back not thinking twice about it, or letting Ponzu or Hisoka speak.
"Very well. We shall start with the loss of hear no evil." The leader yelled as one of the others stepped out to the center of the room.
"OK. Ponzu, I don't know what they will do against you if you lose your hearing but you don't need to hear in order to summon your bees. So you'll be fine, I'll help should anything go bad." I told her before she walked put to meet the other guy in the center.
"Here, put these over your ears?" The one she was facing said sliding across a pair of ear muffs.
I recognized them as high end ones that totally block out all sound. I used to have to train with them when I was growing up, it blocked out all noise so we would have to rely on our other senses to find our way home and protect ourselves, trusting our smell and sight the most.
This things are very hard to come by, either he was supplies those for the examine which is unlikely, or he stole them. They are very expensive... We had to special order them through the hunter association... Sense we are classified as rare magical beast that are illegal to hunt...but still over 2,000 yin for them.
"How do we know it's safe for her to use them and that you are not playing any tricks?" Hisoka asked, which surprised me.
"Oh they won't hurt her. Just block out all sound." The guy said as his hands were freed and he took off his cloak. He had brown shaggy hair and looked ruff...like he lived on the streets.
"Let me take a wild guess and say that you are a thief and stole those earmuffs?" I said leaning on the nearby wall.
"Hehehe...maybe." He replies.
"Ponzu go ahead and put them on...they are safe. And if he did use a trick on them, I'll kill him." I told her and she did as I said.
"Now we shall begin. Since it's my turn and I'm not much of a fighter...I'll choose another contest which I can win. I choose a QUIZ!!!" The guy said pointing up into the air.
"Figures, she can't hear so she can't answer." I said quietly to myself.
"Now let's start with some difficult questions. Oh and you two are not allowed to help her in anyway even if you know the answer... Or even interfere in anyway. Understand?" He said to us.
"Yeah whatever." I said, and Hisoka nodded in agreement.
"Very good. Then let's begin. First question will be true or false and best two out of three wins. Now here is the question...Is there or ever was a village in the woods next to a regular human town, where wolf people live?"
WAIT!?!...HE COULDN'T BE TALKING ABOUT MY PEOPLE COULD HE?
"I'll repeat the question again and you can answer by raising your fingers 1 for false and 2 for true." He said repeating the question, she raised 1 finger after she hesitated for a moment.
"Oh sorry but you are wrong. There was a village of wolf people...I didn't believe until I saw it myself... Then the village was attacked so I stayed hidden before I came out after the show to claims what was left."
NO!!! HE COULDN'T MEAN THAT THOSE EAR MUFFS ARE THE ONES I USED TO TRAIN WITH?!? THAT THE VILLAGE WAS MINE!!?!?
"Now on to question number two! And if you get it wrong then you lose this round. OK so the question is did ever single wolf of the wolf people of this village killed by the Phantom Troupe?" He asked smiling.
NO!! THAT BASTARD IS THE ONE WHO STOLE WHAT WE HAD LEFT AFTER THE SPIDER ATTACKED MY PEOPLE!!! THAT LOW LIFE DOESN'T DESERVE TO LIVE!!!
I growled and clenched my fist as my nails dug into my palms and let some bloodlust seep out.
"Bastard!" I said taking a few steps towards him and Ponzu but suddenly found an arm blocking my way.
I looked up to see Hisoka looking at me with a look that said 'Don't do it.'.
"He's not worth it." I said turning around.
"Oh sorry but you're wrong, you lose. They are all dead! Every last one of them...I saw it myself." The guy said chuckling.
"You're wrong." I said.
"What?" He asked.
"YOU'RE WRONG!!" I yelled turning around to face him.
"Excuse me?"
"I SAID YOU'RE WRONG! AND YOU STOLE THOSE EAR MUFFS FROM MY PEOPLE!" I yelled.
"You're people?... No that can't be and I didn't steal them from..."
"YES YOU DID STEAL THEM!!" I yelled jumping past Hisoka and right in between Ponzu and this low life thief.
I know that my anger was getting the best of me. I took off my hat while at the wall, so my ears were showing, my tail was also showing, claws out, teeth bared and I'm sure that my eyes were glowing a bit as well plus I was growling loud on all fours.
The guy fell backwards onto his butt and had a look of pure horror on his face.
"W...WHAT...ARE YOU!?!" He stuttered out.
"I'M THE LAST REMAINING WOLF DEMON FROM THAT VILLAGE!! YOU ARE A PATHETIC THIEF...I'M SURE THAT SIME OF MY PEOPLE WERE STILL ALIVE AND SUFFERING... YOU COULD HAVE CALLED FOR HELP BUT YOU STOLE WHAT WAS LEFT AND RAN!!! WHY SHOULDN'T I JUST KILL YOU NOW?!!?" I growled as I straightened up and walked towards him as he tried to back away.
"Because if you do kill him, then all of you will be disqualified. It was not your turn and he said you weren't allowed to interfere... You already have so you lose this round automatically. However if you don't kill him, you shall just receive an hour penalty in our special room for that." The leader interrupted.
"What?!!" I yelled.
