Day 6

Marianna had not seen the boy again in the morning, but she anticipated Vitor would come back and she was right. "Wanna buy some Gatorade? Just kidding."

This time Marianna did not answer. She stayed silent. She was done with his ignorance. She did  not want his Gatorade. She just gave him a dirty look. He looked at her for a response. He sat down at the table and started talking. Marianna looked at his teeth and his smile. For some strange reason he reminded her of a much sexier version of the guy from Ratatouille, but with brown hair and olive skin.

When the bell rang they all got up. "Marianna. Can I walk you to class?" He asked.

"Sure," she said kind of rolling her eyes. She looked at her friend Casey and she spoke to her without speaking. Sort of like mouth movements saying "he is soo hot."

"So how are you liking La Joya."

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"Your new aren't you?"

"How did you know that?"

"Well I just never saw you before the beginning of the week."

"Wow. Well aren't you Sherlock Holmes."

He started laughing. "What class do you have next?"

"I have English." Soon enough they were there. "Well thanks."

"Okay bye ill see you later."

She walked into class and couldn't stop thinking about him. It made her smile, but at the same time she didn't even like him as a person. Two of her classes passed and it was finally time to make with that boy from Mr. Bredeca's class.

She ran to class and she walked in and sat at her desk waiting for the boy. He walked in and asked the girl next to her what was his name. "His name is Liam." She watched Liam's every move and laughed whenever he spoke out of term. Today him and Mr. Breceda were fighting about minimum wage while working at Walmart.

He ended up calling Walmart and Marianna got the whole thing on Snapchat. The bell rang and the boy zoomed out of the room.

Later, that night she got a text on Snapchat. She opened it and it was from a boy she used to have a crush on. She read it and it said: "Oh that's my cousin."

She replied: "Really?"

He replied: "Yes."

This was it that was how she was gonna break the ice with him.
