My eyes are still heavy from last night’s lack of sleep, or should I say for being awake until past two in the morning as I feel my body still wanting the comfort of my bed. Unluckily for me, even if it’s rest day like this and no matter how long I stay awake, my body rises from sleep at the same time. 7AM. I guess my body is so used to it that it’s automatically functioning full as soon as the clock ticks seven.
*bzzt *bzzt “Ara~ now who’s calling?” Yuko?
“Open the door Haruna.” Her voice that always sounds so cute demanded. What? Wait? Did she just said open the door? “It’s me. Yuko.”
“Eh? Why are you-“
“Don’t ask. Open the door already.” She interrupted my questions. “I came for you.” Then I heard her giggle.
“F-for me?” I mutter as I dash towards the door to open it. My feet are cold and trembling of excitement and some kind of embarrassment in which I have no idea as to why I still feel that way towards her despite the fact that we’re meeting almost every day.
I reached for the door knob. Thanks to my nerves, I was able to stop to gather for breath and tame my messy hair. Calm down Haruna. What’s wrong with you? I slowly turn the knob to open the door. I can see her face smiling at me, widely displaying her set of dimples. “Good morning.” She greeted enthusiastically.
“G-good mor-“
“Geez~ why are you stuttering this early over me?” her grin makes me more embarrassed. She stepped into the house and have herself seated on the couch that I was occupying earlier. “So… did you have fun last night?” I noticed her eyes sparkle from her question.
“I guess~” I answered rolling my eyes down.
“Ha!” she exclaimed dashing towards me and clinging onto my arm. Pulling me down a little suggests that she wants me to lower down my head as she’s to whisper something. “So you like hearing me moan then?” she uttered as low as possible while controlling her laughter. “Wanna do it for real?”
I can’t help but turn red as I instantly flick back to stand straight, avoiding looking her into her eyes. “No! Of course not! Why would I-”
“Hnn?” she continued grinning as she slowly close the distance between our faces. “Don’t be shy~”
“Yuko?! What—“ I pushed her away on instincts as I feel her breath closing in.
“Hahaha~” her hearty laugh echoes throughout the place. “You’re so cute.”
As I shy away, I glanced towards the kitchen to check if anybody was there. Thankfully, looks like I’m the only one around the house at the moment. “I’m still sleepy.” I murmured not intending for her to hear but I was unsuccessful.
“Let’s go to your room then.”
“Eh?”
“Yeah~ your room.” She gave a grasp over my hand and started pulling. “Uhm~ Haruna, I don’t know where your room is. Teehee~”
I sighed in a smile before giving her a knock on her forehead. “Idiot.”
“Itai~ that hurt!”a cute moan escapes from her mouth as she lightly scratches her head. Adorable, as always. “You’ll pay for this.”
