Bestfriend...With Benefits

Hayden and Ayden. Quarterback of the Ridge Wood Lions and captain of the cheerleading team. It is the last day of junior year and everybody is excited, not only because the cheerleaders through an awesome pep rally, not even because there gonna be seniors when they come back, but because its the last day of school and everyone knows that in two weeks after camp the best party of summer is gonna be thrown.

Walking to Ayden's silver Audi A5 which looks exactly like mine except mine is black, which I hardly ever drive because I always ride with Ayden and if we do take my car he always ends up driving anyways. Boys, and there need to be in control of everything. See me and Ayden have been bestfriends since we were in diapers, inseparable from the very beginning we even almost have the same name. We we learned to walk together, to talk together, learned our 123's and abc's together, we even learned to drive together which is a very interesting story for later.

"Are you ready for tonight?" I asked Ayden.

"Of course Jeremy's pool party is tonight!" he said as he slung his arm over my shoulder as approached our friends waiting for us at his car.

We have a group of an official group of friends since 6th grade and not official as in mean and snobby but just that everyone knows who we are and we dont go anywhere without each other. Don't get me wrong we are not the perfect group, we have all had our share of arguments but we always end up back together. We're worse than old married couples and siblings always arguing and bickering buy you can always feel the love around us. There are 10 of us, of course there is Ayden and I, Jeremy and Jazmyne the other captains of the football team and cheerleading sqaud and one of the cutest couples. There is Chasidee, Destinee twin sisters, and Ashley. Then there's Avry, Ethan, and Shawn. I have the bestfriends anyone could ask for.

"Just an excuse for you to see us in bikinis" I said as I waved at everyone, and smiled a at Jazz sitting on Jeremy's lap.

"Oh yea" Ayden said as he bumped fist with Jeremy, Jazz politely smacked her boyfriend on the back of the head.

"Of course Hayden, any excuse to see you in a bikini I'm down with" Avry said as he threw a wink at me. Avry was hot, standing tall about 6'2, athletic build, dirty blond hair, and gorgeous blue eyes. We always played or flirted as everyone else called it but we there was nothing there. We tryed the dating thing once freshman year but it didn't work out, but we remained friends.

"Pervs" I said as I rolled my eyes at the boys hi fiving at Avry's comment, reconsidering my thought of having the bestfriends ever.

"Well I guess I'm a perv too, gives me a reason to see Ethan without a shirt" Ashley said as she threw her blonde hair over her shoulder and winked at Ethan. Eww everyone in the group knew they had something going on and that there was some truth to that comment.

"And I'm getting Hayden wet tonight!" Ayden said as I elbowed him in the ribs, qjd everyone burst out laughing.

After he got over his coughing, he put on the most innocent face he could muster up and said, " What I just meant tonight when I throw you in the pool."

I rolled my eyes, "Shutup and take mme home I'm ready to get out of this uniform."

"No need to go home, I can help you out of it" Shawn, the handsome player of the group said with a smile on his face that would make any other girl melt.

"Hey that's my job!" Avry said with a pout on his face and his hair falling in his face.

"But I'm the one taking her home" Ayden yelled over his shoulder as I dragged him to the car.

"See you at five" Jazmyne yelled as I climbed in Aydens car.

As I slid into the leather seats turning on the AC I rested my head against the window as Ayden rested his hand on my thigh as he always did when he drove. I never understood why but I never questioned it either.

"We still have so much more planning to do" I said to Ayden as I thought about the party that is always thrown by the captains of the the football team and cheerleading squad after

"I know but we still have this weekend and we can still plan during camp" Ayden said as he squeezed my thigh for reassurance, I instantly felt tingles going up my leg.

"But you know where not aloud to use cellphones during camp Ayden" I said trying to shake the tingles going up my leg. I don't know why but he's been having I don't know why but he's been having this affect on me for a few weeks now but I've been ignoring it.

He gave me that knowing smirk and said, "When has that ever stopped us before?" and we both burst out laughing. There was this rule at JSU that no cellphones were aloud during camp because they felt that they communication from the outside world was a distraction to us. However late at night after we got back to our dorms, Ayden and I always found a way to talk to each other even if it was only to say goodnight.

As we pulled into my driveway I stared up at my house it was huge brick house with 6 bedrooms all had there own bathrooms, dining room, formal dining room, a kitchen that any chef would die for, living room and and even a movie room that resembled a smaller version if a movie theater. I walked into the kitchen and aaw the note laying on the counter, I yelled out "Ayden we have a note!" .

When he walked in he sat on the stool and grabbed a banana, he asked, "How long?". We already knew what the note meant. Our parents owned a business together so it was nothing for them to go on business trips for days even weeks. We both didnt have any sibilings but that's why were so lucky to have each other, not to mention eight other bestfriends. Ayden practically lived at my house, only going to his house every now and then to get clothes, but I didn't mind I always feel safe when he's around.

"They will be back Sunday to see us off for camp and said to call if anything happens." I said. Even though our parents were away a lot, we never felt neglected or unlove, they never missed anything big we had and were always there when we needed them, if anything went wrong they would drop whatever they were doing and make there way to us. We understood they have a job and that there buisness is important to them and we respect that.

Ayden nodded his head as he began to peel his banana I stared at him and smirked. When he finally looked up after he took his first bite he said, "What?" .

"So you like bananas huh?" I said trying to hold back a laugh.

Now he was smirking, "Not was much as you like mine." he said as he winked at me. Ayden and I always joked like this but anything else would just be weird, I think.

I leaned in close to him now he was leaning against the counter and put my hand against his chest as felt him snake his arms around my waist and whispered in his ear, "You wish", I felt his heart beat speed up as I said, "And plus I think I prefer Avry's banana over yours any day."

"Not funny Hayden!" he yelled as I laughed as I sauntered out of the room.
