Chapter one.
My ancestors in the 1300s were originally human, but until a certain plague masquerade their colony they were diagnosis with vampire genes. I know this sounds corny, but signs were showing in the small colony. You would hear screaming because of the transformation process. Some villagers didn't want to be stuck in time as a vampire, going on for centuries to come so they would try to kill them self, but if was ineffective for it was to late and now they were immortal.
When I first was told of this I laugh because what if you were old and you had caught the vampire plague. That would mean you would be forever old, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. If you are old, your old, if your young, your young, but outside your appearance would look like your young, if you get what I'm saying.
Any ways my ancestors were driven out of Europe and then colonize in the UK, Britain to be precise.
That's where I was born in xxxx December 15. Now currently my mom who wanted to meet her sister in California, made us move in Venice Beach. There I transfer to St. Thomas High School.
I was glad that I'm going to a new school however their mascot was a bulldog and I have a phobia of dogs. In fact my whole family has a fear of dogs. It just that we were hunt by dog in the old days so I guess we develop a fear and hate for them. And that's basically the end of my intro.
"Elizabeth can you help me put these away!" my mother called. "Coming!" I yelled back. I ran down the stairs in our new home. My mom was waiting for me with piles of clothes in a box.
"Here are yours."
"Thanks. Did you get my specially ordered candy from grandma's store in Britain?"
"No, but your dad is checking the mail right now why don't you go check with him after you put away your clothes"
"Fine, then I'm going," I walked to the stairs with boxes in my handed. I ran back upstair and to quicken up the pace of putting my clothes away I used one of my skills as a vampire, speed, but I only finish halfway because I'm not as strong as other vampires due to my lack of protein/ iron blood.
Tired I went back downstairs only to find my dad on the couch with a package. Yes its here, my meal.
I grabbed the package with a kiss on the cheek to my dad for paying the shipment cost. I opened it up on the spot and ripped open a bag of mouthwatering laffy taffy. I don't really like candy, but because I've ate it basically my whole 116 years of life I got use to it and I was starving.
I guess I fell asleep after that because all I heard was a beeping sound coming from my alarm and that I was in my bed full of candy wrappers. I got up and started getting ready for school. I made sure to push my fangs in, but it really didn't matter if I did because they were so small from not practicing seeking in my teeth with flesh that you can't tell I'm a vampire which was a good thing.
Then I had to apply spray tanned so as to not stand out from my fair complexion. The thought of my first day of school kind of frighten me, but it was alright because with my European/British look from my ancestors I wasn't sure that I would stand out, but I was completely wrong. When I got to school I was already got noticed a lot.
"Wow. Is she from another country?"
"I love her facial feature."
"Dude ask her something." So much for not standing out. Ooof. Before I knew it I had already bumped into someone my first day of school dropping my bag of candy along with my purse and school supplies.
"Sorry I wasn't looking where I was going and I'm new so I'm kind of lost and.."
"No, Its fine. I was at fault for standing in the middle of the hallway," the sweet smelling boy said as he turn around with hazel eyes and brown hair with his tall figure.
"Are you wearing perfume," I unconsciously said. He laugh and raised and eyebrow.
" No, why do you ask." I was about to speak but the bell rang.
"Well I've gotta go, see you around..um whats your name?"
"Elizabeth Veronica Erin Rogers," I said.
"Haha. I didn't mean your whole name, but its nice. I think I like you, Elizabeth. My names Frank Owens Richardson, haha, any ways see you around." As he walk away I sat there blushing my cheeks out seeing his laughing face down the hallway with friends, I realize then that I had a craving to bite his bare tanned neck and drink his sweet smelling blood.
