Chapter two

Vanna POV
I started to follow Andrew upstairs to my room and once we got there he just dropped my bags and looked at me with a rude glare.

"Uhh you're welcome" he said shoving past me. God he's a complete asshole I'm definitely not gonna get along with him.

"Um thanks?" I mumbled under my breath. I then walked into my room and started unpacking putting all my posters up.

It was pretty quiet in my room so I put on some music and started dancing as I put my stuff away. As I was dancing I felt eyes on my so I turned around and it was my dad and I'm guessing my stepmom watching me.

So I turned my music off and and stopped "oh we didn't mean to interrupt you" my dad said and I walked over to them "no no you're fine" I said.

"I just wanted you to meet your stepmom" he said pointing to the lady next to him. I waved at her and smiled "Hi I'm Vanna" I said shaking her hand "Mrs.Fontenot but you can call me Mary" she said.

"Well dinner will be ready soon" my dad said and I nodded. When they left I sat on my bed look at old photos of me Tiffany and James smiling. I miss them a lot.

I looked up to someone knocking on my door and sadly it was Andrew "Dinners ready" he said. I then got up following him downstairs and I could already smell the food and it smelled amazing plus I was starving.

"Hungry?" My stepmom asked and I nodded "fat ass" Andrew mumbled and his mom hit him. I just rolled my eyes and got some food and sat down at the table. "So Vanna are you excited about school next week?" My dad asked and I just nodded.

I wasn't really excited because that means I have to meet new people and be social and being social is not my thing "I bet you'll make so many new friends" my dad said and Andrew laughed.

"Her? Yeah right" he said and I just finished my food and went upstairs to my room to get my phone and headphones. I came back downstairs and before anyone could stop me I left.

Since it's my first time here I didn't know where I was going. But I found this park so I went and sat on the swings while listening to my music.

As I was sitting by myself this couple came up to me holding hands. "Hey" the girl said she was really pretty. I just waved "You new here?" The guy asked and I nodded taking my headphones out. "Oh well I'm Angelica and this is my boyfriend Nick" she said.

"I'm Vanna" I said getting off the swing. "You okay?" Angelica asked and I nodded. They seem pretty sweet never know we might become friends.

Me Angelica and Nick were walking together until I heard someone call after me "Vanna!" And I knew the voice instantly. It was Andrew.

He ran up to us and I tried to walk away but he grabbed me "bro leave her alone" Nick said and I just stopped him "He's my stepbrother" I said. "Okay what do you want" I asked Andrew

"I was told to come look for your ass" he said angrily and I just rolled my eyes "okay you found me and I'm fine" I said "okay then let's go" he said pulling on my arm but I pulled away "don't pull me" I said glaring.

I then looked at Angelica and Nick they both had pity in their eyes but I just mouthed "Don't worry" and we traded numbers and I walked home with Andrew.

Mom I really miss you.
