I felt the rain hit my cheeks as I left the house. I wasn't exactly happy with the uniform so I had changed into my frilly black-and violet skirt with a matching top, accompanied by black heels and a black shoulder bag. *sigh* I thought to myself , Why do I have to go to this stupid school? Why can't I just be home-schooled? I knew it was no use, Merida said I had to and I knew she was a force to be reckoned with, even for me. I walked up to the building. Here goes nothing. I thought as I made my way down the hallways. I dared not make eye contact with anyone.
I found class 1-A and took my seat in front of a beautiful man with large hazel eyes. He stared at me for a moment. Then spoke up. "Why hello there, and who might you be?" He asked as he raised an eyebrow at me with a devilish smirk on his face. I didn't respond, only wrote in my poetry journal, "Sweet sorrow does the morning bring when your sweet voice no longer rings, when the solemn somber golden air reflects upon your auburn hair..." "That's really good." He said. "I'm Kaoru Hitachiin, and this is my twin Hikaru. We are pleased to meet you!" They said in unison, holding out red roses. I rolled my eyes and returned to writing. "When the moon does the sea touch, and I embrace your loving touch, tears will fall from my eyes, as I brace for the ever returning goodbye..." "You're really good at that you know. I just ignored them and payed attention to the lesson."Can I see your schedule?" Kaoru asked poking me in the shoulder as the bell rang. I sighed knowing he would not leave me alone until I showed it to him. "We have all our classes together!" He smirked. "That's greeaaaat." I muttered sarcastically grabbing my schedule and walking away. "Hey! Wait up!" Hikaru called as he and Kaoru ran to my sides. "We should all go together!" I just let out a sigh and kept walking.
Classes took forever to finish, but it was finally lunch time. I got my tray then sat in a corner and began humming to myself as I ate. I suddenly felt myself being lifted into the air and carried over to a table where four boys and a girl were sitting. I just sighed and continued eating, like nothing had happened. Maybe if I pretend not to notice they're there, they won't acknowledge me. I thought. "So, Kaoru, Hikaru who have you brought with you today, hmm?" A beautiful man with blonde hair asked the twins. "We don't quite know her name, but she is pretty amazing at writing poetry, so we thought we'd introduce her to you guys seeing as how we're going to be best friends from now on!" They said in unison as they smiled at me. I almost choked on my food. "*Ahem*" I coughed. "I don't EVER remember telling you guys that." I stated. "Nonsense, it was in your poem." One of the twins stated. "Hikaru's right you know! *Ahem*- 'Sweet sorrow does the morning bring when your sweet voice no longer rings, when the solemn somber golden air reflects upon your auburn hair..." The twins cooed rubbing my head. "First off," I said, "DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TOUCH MY HAIR, EVER! And don't go around quoting me like that, that poem was not about you and I think I'm going to leave now. Gentleman, miss, GOODBYE!" I hissed as I left the lunchroom.
I could feel them eyeing me as I walked away. I would LOVE to be their friend, but it's too risky. All of a sudden I'm whisked away to some music room by the twins. "LET ME GO!" I scream as they drop me on a sofa. A tall, dark, but handsome man with glasses spoke up, "You know about Haruhi?" I cocked my head confusingly. "Who's Haruhi?" The girl spoke up, "I sit behind you in homeroom."
Then it clicked. "Oh! So you're the girl who sits behind me?" I asked. They all looked at me and explained the situation. "Hmmm. I see. Well I won't tell, I have nobody TO tell, so it's fine." I stood up to leave but a little boy with big eyes and a small, pink stuffed bunny said, "What's you're name?" He asked with a cute face. "I couldn't help but smile. " I'm Genavieve." I said cocking my head slightly to the left. "And who might you be?" I asked with a smile as I crouched down to look him in the eye. "That's Mitsukuni Haninozuka, or Honey-Senpai." A tall and silent man said as he looked down at us. "Well Mitsukuni, it's a pleasure to have met you, I curtseyed as I began to leave.
"Tama-Chan!" Honey said as he started crying and pulling on my skirt. "Can Jenna-Chan stay in the Host Club? Pretty please?" He said pouting. "I see no problem with that if she wants to, that is. We've never had a female host before so I'm sure she'd bring in some customers. "No way." I stated blankly. "mmmm..." I looked down and saw Honey on the brink of tears. My face softened. I'm gonna regret this... I thought. "*sigh* FINE! But just to be clear I'm doing this for Mitskuni and nobody else!" I grumbled. The tall blonde one from earlier picked me up and twirled me around and squealed, "Yay! Haruhi you have a sister! Let daddy take care of you now okay Jenna-Chan?!" I kneed him in the stomach and was sent flying. The silent man from before tried to catch me but I landed on my feet perfectly in front of them. "So what is it I have to do exactly?" I asked feeling their suprised and amazed stares. Maybe this won't be so bad after all.
