The only sound that could be heard was the sound of buzzing, the young blonde haired girl walked down the corridor, a darkness surrounding her as the lights that hung on the wall flickered. To her, it seemed even with the lights working, this Hotel would still be a dark and an eerie place. She had been here now for a couple of hours, she had found that a women/man ran the bar, whilst a lady on reception, who might she add was a total cow, her Father had always told her to never judge a book by its cover, but it was hard not to with Iris.
She waited for the lift to ping, opening to reveal a man who looked very much like he was stuck in the 20's, he wore a Tux suit and had a beard, in his mouth sat a wooden pipe, smoke willowed of it as he exhaled. The girl stepped in to the lift, choosing to ignore the smoke that seemed to be suffocating her.
"What floor m'lady?". The man asked, his voice seemed retro.
"The lobby". The blonde girl sent him a brief smile as the lift doors closed, for a moment there was silence, the man had started humming some jazz tune as he kept his eyes on the door. Though, the lift didn't go to the main lobby like the both of them had wanted, it kept going down to a floor below the lobby, must have been the Power room. The lift had stopped, but the doors appeared to stay shut.
"Oh dear, it appears we seem to have a small malfunction". He spoke, his voice held no worry or concern that the both of them were stuck in a lift.
The blonde girl turned to the man with dark eyes, then back at the buttons, she was looking for a emergency button.
"There is no use in that m'dear, there's not one". Mr March spoke, clearing his throat. "Emergencies happen rarely at Hotel Cortez, I make sure of that".
The girl looked to him, resting against the wall in a sigh. "And how would you know that?".
"I know everything, this is my Hotel". Mr March grinned crazily. "I also know that you, young lady, are about to meet the most incredible fate, the start of a new error, a new you". The lift pinged, the girl was glad, it seemed the person in charge of the Hotel was a complete nut case. Though, as soon as the doors had opened, she was by the sight of a very, beautiful women that just poured seduction and class. Her bleach blonde hair was pinned up with a black clasp, the wore a red dress that went down to her knees, over that, she wore a white, silk jacket. On her feet was the a pair of the most highest heels the girl had ever seen. Looking back up to the face of the women, she saw that she wore dark eye makeup, with full red lips, she had a pair of white eyebrows which could of seemed strange on anyone else, but this women slayed them.
"Might I say James, I'm impressed". It came out as seductive drawl.
"Anything for you my dear". Mr March replied from behind the girl who was in awe at this women, it was like she was under a spell, that was strange.
Present time
Lola sat upon the front desk, much to the annoyance of Iris who had seemed to get used to the girl doing what ever she wanted, when she wanted. After all she was stuck in this Hotel, yes she was able to leave if she wanted to, but once the Countess managed to sink her teeth into you, it was almost as if you were a magnet to this place. Iris knew a young girl like Lola should be having fun, but instead she was in the Hotel acting like a little whore, because that was all she could do.
Lola smiled as a well suited man had entered the Hotel, he had dark hair, a pair of dark eyes and wore a small grin on his face as he passed that little slag Sally, who was smirking at him from the wall that she was leant against. The women was not a threat though, after all, Sally was dead, a ghost, and Lola, well she just held the Virus.
"Hi, I made a reservation earlier this week". The man spoke as he arrived at the front desk, sending a brief glance at the girl who was sat cross legged on the desk almost next to him, wearing a low cut black dress, her blonde hair below her shoulders in loose curls, her dark eyes made up with eyeliner, mascarra and a grey/black smooth eyeshadow. Her skin was almost porcelin, her legs, everything. Although she couldn't have been older than 20. She was beautiful.
"Under what name?". Iris voice cut in, realising that is man had his eye on the the blood thirsty monster, knowing her kind would kill and kill and keep on till they were satisfied, she whisperd a God bless under her breath, luckly the man had not heard, but Lola did and rolled her dark eyes.
"Mr Fusia". The man replied. "I'm here to write a book on this place". The man informed the receptionist.
Iris raised an eyebrow for a moment as she studied the man. "The Writer, thats right". Iris nodded as her eye traced the top of a sheet, her finger gliding across the thin paper. "2 nights? Room 205". Iris turned around and took a golden set of keys of the shelf.
Lola made her way down from the desk and instead leant against it. "So, do you have a first name? You don't expect me to go by Fusia now, do you?". She asks, a small smirk playing on her lips. Iris had busied herself in finding the keys and booking him in, pretending that she didn't hear them, she didn't want to have blood on her hands when the girl ate him, or turned him.
"Dolton". Dolten smiled. "Yourself?".
Lola tilted her head to the side, giving a writer her name would be bad seeing as she did go missing under Lola Dione over 5 years ago now. This man would out her, and eventually there would be a ton of answers that her 5 years ago self could not answer, and she would not answer.
Iris, seeing this handed the keys over to Dolton. "Heres ya keys, enjoy your stay here at Hotel Cortez, theres a card in your room with the number for room servie".
Dolton nodded, taking the keys. "That is swell, thanks".
Lola watched him leave, deciding that she didn't want to be blonde anymore, there were to many people in this damn place that were blonde, and funnily she seemed to hate them all, the Countess being one of them, the bitch who made her this way, then there was Sally the ghost who fell/ pushed from a window by none other than Iris herself.
"Only 2 days huh?". Lola sighed. "That will have to change". She said it only to herself but Iris heard. Iris slammed her fist down on the desk in anger, though it did not faze Lola, she slowly turned to face Iris.
"Something the matter Iris?". She'd ask.
Iris glared at her. Little brat. "I would find it very nice if you and that women kept your claws of the guests".
Lola rolled her eyes, she wasn't going to hurt him, she just wanted a little bit of fun, since being here at the Hotel, she hadn't gotten much action seeing as half the residents were either ghosts or like herself, she didn't really know that she was, after the Countess had changed her, she hadn't aged, she had stayed the 19 year old girl she was, her skin had gone perfect, everything was perfect, she had developed a lust for men, sometimes women, and a lust for blood, it kept her going, it kept her the Godess she was. Though, she did not like this life and she resented the lady who was responsible, Elizabeth, AKA the Countess, the women in charge of this place, the women who owned this Hotel, walking around in her silk gown and rare dresses, her hair lushious and white, her makeup perfect, though Lola hated her, she hated who she was now, killing was wrong and she knew that, it was hard not to though when it was who she was now.
"Relax Iris, he is way out of my league anyway, I was just having a little fun". Lola smiled. "You realise I'm not really the monster you think I am, I hate this to, but she changed me and I dont have a choice now". She explained. Iris just dismissed her with a wave of her hand through the air. That damn women, she was turning her Hotel into a Cemetery, a dosser house, damn Elisabeth, damn her.
