Chapter 11; Watch Your Back

-The next day-

*Faye's POV*

Beep! Beep! Beep! I groaned and slammed my hand down on the alarm. I really couldn't be bothered with school today. "Shotty shower first" I mumbled and dragged myself out of bed. Then I got a towel out of the cupboard and got into the shower, letting the water hit me as I thought about everything. Brooke, Beau, Ally, life. After I'd finished in the shower I put on my boring uniform and decided to leave my thick black hair wavy after the shower. Then I just did minimal makeup, especially because my blue eyes don't look good with a lot of black around them. Then I went downstairs and ate a slice of toast that Auntie Karen had made, then I started to get my stuff together. Ally, Ry and Lo came down and ate some toast and then we left in Keane's car to school.

"Faaaaaye" I heard Jai call as I stepped out Keane's car first. "Jaaaaiii" I sang back and laughed. Then Ally got out behind me. "Hey Ally" Jai smiled. "Yo Jai" she smiled back. "Where's Luke at?" I asked Jai. "Went to his form early" he shrugged. We waved bye to Keane, Riley and Lois and went inside school with Jai, and took our seats at the back.

It was my first science lesson, I had it with Luke. We sat at the back and after a while a bit of paper hit me. I opened it up and read it.

Stay away from Beau. Actuslly, stay away from the Brooks. Stay away from the Janoskians. Go back to the uk, no one wants you here. Watch your back, bitch.

Kay, whoever that was, uh, RUDE. I scrunched it back up and threw it away. "What was that?" Luke asked. I shrugged. "Oh, just a stupid note" I said. Luke shrugged and we continued to chat and muck around, not concentrating at all on the lesson.

At break we sat at our usual table by the window. I looked through my phone, nothing interesting, except this one text.

From: Unknown Number

Don't ignore me. I said, watch your back Levine.

Okay this is getting a bit weird. But oh well I guess. I deleted the text and blocked the number. Whatever. "Hey what lesson do you have next?" James asked. "PE" I said. "Ugh, same" Ally groaned. "Aw, PE can be okay" I said. "I hate it" Ally said. I shrugged. I don't mind PE. I'd rather do art or music, but PE is cool too, depending what sport.

"What sport have we got?" Ally asked as we walked to some changing rooms. "Um, not sure" I said, and we reached the changing rooms. We got changed, and then split into our PE groups. Thank fuck Ally was with me. Our PE teacher was Miss Bensfield. "Alright girls, we would have been doing netball but as it's raining out, we'll be doing volleyball instead" she said to our group. Eh, volleyball's alright. I'd have preferred netball but volleyball is cool too.

"Watch out Faye" I heard Ally yell, and all I saw was a ball come flying at me before I fell back and everything went black.

I woke up with a pounding headache and groaned. There was a damp cloth on my forehead and I held it there as I tried to sit up, but I ended up lying back down as my head really hurt. I felt a massive bump on it and then I remembered the ball. "Are you okay sweetheart" I heard someone call. Oh, was I being loud. The school nurse came in and smiled at me sympathetically. "Quite a nasty hit you took, you passed out" she said. "Yeah, I figured" I said, and the nurse nodded. "I'll leave you to lie in peace" she said. "Thank you" I said, and she smiled and left. I lied back in the bed and sighed.

"Hey Faye" I heard Ally say, and I looked up and saw my twin. Smiling, she walked over. "Hey Al" I smiled back. "You okay?" she asked. "Yeah, I just had a concussion I think" I said. Ally nodded. "Yeah, Brooke hit you pretty hard. It looked so much like it was on purpose, but eh" Ally shrugged. Wait wait wait, hold up. It was Brooke?!
