"Ladies and gentlemen, we are approaching LAX international airport. Please fold up your trays, and return your seat to its upright position."

This is it Laura. Your big break.
I thought to myself. Maybe I can do this. It can't be that hard. Maybe people will like me. I already have a following on Facebook and Instagram.

I continued to contemplate as I gripped my camera. I'm so scared. What if I can't do this? I honestly don't want to move back to Ohio. I'm tired of being nobody. I came here to be somebody. And god damnit my name will headline in the news papers and broadcasting channels. I'll be a household name.

All the celebrities will want me to take their picture. Even if it's a selfie!

The plane lands smoothly, I anxiously wait for the plane to come to a complete stop.
I stood up, stretched my legs, and got my bags and proceeded to try and get my self through the crowd of people crammed on this airplane. I finally get out of the plane and get outside and try to scan for a familiar face.

"LAURA!" I hear a vaguely familiar voice call out.

Ah, it was Trisha. We have been best friends since kindergarten. She went to UCLA  here in California and I stayed in Ohio.
"Trisha! Im so glad to see you!"
She greeted me with a well needed hug and gave me a peck on my cheek.
"You need to tell me everything! How is everyone? Anything new happen? Tell me!" She said with enthusiasm.

We continued to chat and catch up as we made our way to baggage claim.

As we were walking we got onto the topic of relationship. I had been very single since high school. When I went out with Jarad, we immediately broke up because my mom told me too.

"So do you have a special someone?"
I asked very curious.
"Who is the lucky guy?" I asked again impatiently.
"Actually, girl. Her name is Jaylyn."
Wow, I didn't know she was gay.
"That's great. I'm so happy for you!"
I said supportively. I tried not to sound too surprised.

Trisha was always the one that all the boys drooled over. So it never came across my mind that she could be gay or bi.
"Haha thanks" she said kind of surprised. Where we came from was very conservative and religious. Anyone would be hesitant to come out in that situation.

We got into Trisha's car and began to drive to her apartment. We kept talking about random things. Jobs, relationships, crazy experiences, and basically everything that we missed over the years.

When we finally got to her apartment, I took a deserved shower and crashed on the couch.

In the morning I grabbed the news paper and immediately started looking for a job.

Trisha and I decided to go sightseeing.

The last thing I wanted to think about is jobs and the stress. I didn't come here to work a part time job, minimum wage, and at a crappy fast food restaurant.

I came here for one reason and one reason only.
