(Finally doing a Jasper imagine 😄, it's short but it's sweet I guess)
"That's great Jas," you say with a yawn as you lay down, rolling over so your back is to the fire.
"I've always wanted to go hiking through the mountains. Ever since I read about it in Earth Skills, it's been a goal of mine, well since I found out we were coming down to Earth anyways."
You shut your eyes and let the sound of his voice fill your mind, allowing it to carry you further towards sleep. He fell silent for a second, but then he was right back to rambling again.
"Now that all of this bullshit is over, we finally get to live our lives, to do all of the things we've always wanted to try. What about you babe? What do you want to add to our list of things to accomplish?"
His voice is eager, which brings a smile to your face. You love the fact that he is being so passionate. It's been a long time since he has been genuinely happy like this, you just wish it wasn't at 1 am.
"shh..I'm sleeping," you whisper, hoping not to hurt his feeling too bad. Luckily, it doesn't seem to bother him at all.
"Oh right, sorry" he whispers.
Within seconds you feel his body pressing up against your own,his arms wrap around you and close the gap between you. Warmth and comfort instantly consume your body.
"Goodnight my beautiful girl," is the last thing you hear before sleep takes you.
