"The only thing worse than fuzzy movie seats are the popcorn kernels always being stuck in my teeth" James thought sitting behind the counter eagerly. The rusted hinges squeaked open as the guests departed from the previous movie. "Finally... the movie is over. We can go home now." Carley thought turning off all the lights and the popcorn maker. The doors now shut, the room was quiet. Very very quiet. The exit door opened once more, however; and in walked a stranger that had never been seen before. "Hello'" he started, as they put the surprised look across their faces. "I am here to ask briefly about the new movie, Ragged Demise." he stated placing his fist firmly on the counter practically guaranteeing that he would not leave until he got an answer. "That movie is not going to be shown in this theater..." James said nibbling on the rest of the popcorn. "I'm sorry sir but you'll have to leave now. The theater is closing." Carley states beginning to sweep the floors. "What kind of theater does not play all the new movies? I mean honestly I have not once found a theater that will play this movie. It came out years ago but it never made DVD, nor did it play in a theater. It changed my life. I need to see it again. Just another disappointment I suppose." the man finished walking out the exit door gloomily.

"Well... now I just feel bad." Carley said looking over at James. "Well what are we supposed to do? It's not like we're going to play every movie every person comes up to us and asks us about." James replied in retort. "Perhaps not but who knows, perhaps if we play this movie for the guy we might make a bit more money and promote the theater!" She again chimed, refusing to relent. "Hmmm... I suppose you're right. This could increase our popularity, as well as our sales. Who knows it may even be a good movie." James said stroking his chin spilling his popcorn. "I just sweeped that you idiot..." Carley laughed sweeping up his spilled popcorn. "I'm not perfect, I won't ever claim to be. And neither should you." James said as he squirted more butter into the popcorn bowl.

The moon arose as the twins fell asleep, both sound in their beds without a vision or thought. Meanwhile elsewhere the man who had walked in seemed to be having a bit of trouble sleeping. "Why won't they just play the damned movie... it's the only thing I have ever asked anyone to do for me. I guess it doesn't matter. Who knows... the dramatic effect may have worked on them. It worked on the last ones..." the man thought as he pulled in his covers and fell asleep sternly.

The next day, Carley looked in the mirror and brushed her teeth like every other morning. James fell out of bed like he usually does and then struggled his way into his pants. Walking into the bathroom, he notices Carley and smiles putting on his shirt. "You know... your teeth are pretty white because of you doing that, I'm quite proud." James said standing in the archway of the bathroom door. "Haha well, thank you, but it's not my fault that your teeth are as yellow as the butter on your popcorn." Carley retorts laughing, spitting into the sink. "Ha-ha very funny, I am gonna go get the rest of my clothes on and game for a bit before we head off for another boring night at the counter." James said with a sigh walking into the living room. The television was huge, and the quality was almost life like. As if he were playing in a movie. Carley just laughed at the usual brother she had always known and decided to head to her room for some quality music. Afterall, she had to tune out her brother's idiocy. Her headphones were almost one of a kind, as they were once factory sealed but had been broken. She fixed them herself into something that no one else could ever create. She could have her own peace, and he could have his.

A few hours had passed and they decided they should get to the theater before it was too late, movies started playing at 5:30. Now back behind the counter, James buttered up his own bowl of popcorn again and sat back ready for his show to begin. The people flocking in like moronic birds was always his call. Carley just looked at him with the stupidest look and stocked the registers and the soda machine. The guests before you knew it lined up and were purchasing drinks, tickets, and popcorn for the movies. James never did much of anything except dish out the food, so between movies he never had all that much to do. He decided to go into the back during the 7:45 premier and check something on the computer. The time now being past 9, Carley didn't know where her brother had gone and the next movie premier would start soon. She was manning the counter by herself without him. She went to look for him, but it was too late, a whole swarm of people came buzzing in like bees racing to the counter for tickets to the premier of the new movie, "Fireworks of beijing". She managed the entire counter without him for over half an hour. He never returned. Finally she could not take it anymore and decided to check for him. The only place he could be was in the back room!
