"Essence Carr," My teacher calls for roll

"Here"

" I need to talk to you after class, okay."

"Okay."   The class seems to find that funny because they bust into a roar of laughter.

 My teacher always seems to find a way to embarrass me in front of the class. Just last week she told the whole class that I was on my period, embarrassed is not even strong enough to explain how I felt. By her bringing that to the classes attention had me bullied for that whole week.

After everyone left I stayed after so we could talk even though I just wanted to go home.

" Essence you are seeming to be getting more and more depressed and that is effecting your grades," says Mrs. Blake

"I'm trying but i just keep getting bullied and no one believes me so I feel like if it shows in my work then yall would notice." I say aggravated at the fact that they don't believe that I'm getting bullied. Even some teachers see the kids bullying me and do nothing about it.

" Well i see that you are depressed but i just dont believe that you are getting bullied you just seem to be invisible to everyone."

" I'm not invisible, i wish i was, but im not and the fact that you and the other teachers dont even realise that this is happening is pissing me off!!!" i practically yell. I run out of the class room so fast because I didn't want to start crying in front of her. The next thing i know I'm on the floor.

I black out for like five second and when i come to i see some guy staring at me. I take in his features because right now i really can't hear anything but ringing in my ears. He has these really ocean blue eyes that i can just get lost in. He has on this tight t-shirt that i can see his six pack in. I would say that he is about 6'4. He is OMG! gorgeous. He's way to gorgeous for a girl like me with plain eyes, hair, and a plain body. I don't even know why he's so concerned about me right now.

When i get my hearing back i hear him say" You're a cutie." I dont answer to it i just act as if i didnt hear what he said. I try to hold back the blush that wants to come to my face.

"Are you okay.......can you hear me?" he asks

"Yea i can hear you now.........I'm fine thank you, but next time can you not have your locker open so wide??" I say sarcastically.

" Well if you wouldnt have been running and had been paying attention to where you were going you wouldn't have ran into my locker, now would you?".........ugh why is he so cute i cant be mad at him.

"Well I'll let you know that i have good reasons for  running.....im late for class." I say even though i know that school ended an hour ago. I mentally face Palm myself for my dumb response. This is why I don't have conversations with people out of my league.

"Oh really now? Did you know that school has been over for an hour?" He says with the most beautiful smirk on his face that I have ever seen.

"Ok......then maybe I have something to do after school," I say even though I know that's a lie I have absolutely nothing to do after school. Nobody wants to hang out with a reject like me.

"Mhm ok sure I believe......so what's your name?" he asks

"Essence....what's yours?"

"Anthony but everyone calls me Tony..so how come I never see you around school,"he asks still having that smirk on his face which makes me want to tell him the truth but I just lie. He wouldn't want to hear about my pathetic life which shouldn't even be called that.

" I like to keep to myself and.........I'm new here, yea that's why you don't see me around school," I lie, horrifyingly bad. I just want to go hide after that.

"Well maybe we could hangout sometime"

"Maybe we could. Well I got to go so bye." I run off before he can even reply trying not to embarrass myself anymore than I already have. I don't want him to be seen with someone like me he's too cute to be associated with me. I think to myself.Well that was awkward.
