25. Epilogue

Rin's eyes slipped open, the warmth she felt last night nowhere to be found. She pushed herself to sit up while holding the covers over her chest, rubbing the sleepiness from her eyes. She stretched her tired, slightly achy body before giving a yawn as she glanced around. Where was Levi, she wondered. Deciding to go and search for him, Rin pushed the covers away from her body and swung her legs off the bed, but as soon as she stood up, she quickly went to the wall for support, gripping the blanket around her naked body.

"Mm...!" She winced, wrapping an arm around her midsection. Her legs were weak, her back ached, and forbidden areas were sore. Regardless of that pain though, she grinned. "Come on, Rin, this is nothing... You knew you would pay the price for it, and yet...I'm happy."

This pain... I somehow like the way it feels. Sure, it hurts to stand and walk, but it reminds me of him... Rin lifted one of her wrists, grinning at seeing the slightly bruising from the tie that was used to hold her hands together above her head. It hurts, but I love it all the same. I love this pain... Heh... Never thought I'd say something like that...

Glancing around the room, Rin noticed their clothes from last night had been cleaned up and a clean set was set on the dresser for her as the teen slowly made her way towards it. Grabbing the clothing, she noticed it was just a pair of red panties and one of Levi's button up shirts. She grinned again as she set the blanket around her body on the bed and slipped the underwear on before the shirt, leaving a few undone at the top. The shirt was long enough to cover her underwear, though she couldn't deny that it was also a little big on her. After making up the bed in her tired state as beat she could, Rin made her way downstairs, using any and everything she could as her support. It hurt a bit more to go down the stairs, wincing slightly with each step, but she made it as a wonderful scent soon met her nose. She followed it to the kitchen only to find Levi making breakfast. The redhead smiled slightly as she tip-toed up to the raven, being as quiet as possible. While Levi was so focused on making breakfast, he just now noticed slim arms snake around his waist from behind. He smirked at realizing who it was as the warm body pressed itself against his back. Levi had just been dressed in a white sleeveless shirt and dark blue sweatpants since he couldn't care less to dress up better.

"Looks like you're finally up." He commented. "How do you feel?"

"I'm sore, but I'll survive."

"Can you at least walk?"

"Yeah, but it kinda hurts, especially going down the stairs, but don't worry, I'm fine."

"You sure about that?" He turned to face her, wrapping his arms around his beautiful lover as she leaned against his chest contently.

"Mm-hmm... I'm just fine... Besides, I like this pain..."

Levi smirked again. "I never thought I'd see the day when you actually like pain."

She smiled innocently. "I like it only because you caused it; it's the good kind of pain..."

Ring! Ring! Ring!

"Hmm?" Both turned to see Levi's phone going off.

While still keeping an arm around her, the raven reached over and grabbed the device, answering the call. "Yes?"

"Hi, Levi!"

He groaned. "What the hell do you want, Hanji? I'm busy..."

"Busy with your little girlfriend?" She giggled, both rolling their eyes.

"And if I am?"

"I knew it! I knew you two were a thing!"

"So what? She's mine and that's that."
