They worked rather silently for a good 15 minutes. Every so often they would mumble other random ideas about their project to each other. Hyungwon wrote their ideas down as Wonho say awkwardly, listening to the pencil scratch across the paper.
"So who do you need a wingman for?" Hyungwon said, trying his best to break the awkwardness between them since he could tell Wonho didn't like it. Wonho gasped a little, surprised at the question since he thought Hyungwon hadn't heard the conversation. He bit the inside of his cheeks out of nervousness and played with the hem of his shirt.
"Nobody." He replied quickly, praying to himself that the conversation would be changed. Hyungwon raised an eyebrow at him. "It was just a joke!" Wonho continued as he noticed the others expression. Hyungwon put the pencil between his white teeth as he smiled a little at the others nervousness. Wonho's eyes shot to his lap to somewhat hide the blush on his face.
"Okay then why are so nervous around me?"
"I'm not."
"Then why are you staring at your lap and not me?" Hyungwon said teasingly. Wonho's head shot up and he crossed his arms, not answering. They stayed quiet for the rest of class, only awkwardly meeting eyes a few times. The bell that rang for the next class broke the awkward couple apart. Hyungwon stood up, grabbing his bag and the paper off Wonho's desk. He stood there for a moment as the room cleared more, and Wonho took a long time to gather his stuff, as usual. As Wonho stood up he head Wonho's voice from behind him. He didn't really notice he was there since thoughts were running laps around his brain at the time.
"Since we didn't get much done today, you should come to my house after school today." Wonho didn't dare face him. He would have given away more hints of his crush than he wanted to since a goofy smile was plastered across his face. "But we have to actually get things done. I can walk you home afterwards," he continued. Wonho nodded and strolled towards his next class."Could we have an extension on the rough draft? Just until tomorrow morning." Was the last thing he heard from that classroom. Why is he doing that? He doesn't have to go through that trouble just for this dumb project and Hyungwon's dumb partner (a.k.a Wonho) he thought to himself as his head was tilted towards the ceiling. Then he had thoughts that were no where near realistic in his mind, but he thought them anyway.
"What if he just wants to spend more time with me." He blurted out through his thoughts once again. He stopped mid-step and stared down the hallways. His eyes were wide with wonder and his cheeks were red. Usually, he would end up making a fool of himself at this point, but he felt rather calm this time.
Suddenly, his vision was covered and he snapped out of the Hyungwon induced trance. Once he shook a little the hand that covered his eyes was removed and he saw his friend, Jooheon, in front of him. He smiled brightly and titled his head a little in question. "Class starts in one minute. You'll be late," Jooheon stated abruptly. As Wonho started to walk at that news, Jooheon's hands stopped him. "Also, turn off the nervous switch. I understand you've never really had a crush, but accept it and try flirting."
Hearing this surprised Wonho since Jooheon was always the one the crack a joke, or pull off some ridiculous cute act. He has never heard genuine advice come from Jooheon's mouth, but he liked it. He smiled at him to see his dimpley smile and two fingers next to his eye (the aegyo Wonho was so used to). He chuckled and pushed pass Jooheon's hand.
He didn't show it much since he tried his best to be serious during class, but Wonho was insanely happy with everything at the moment. It still hasn't set in that he was going to be in Hyungwon's home within the next few hours.
