~Chapter Fifteen~
Somehow, the thoughts and feelings jumbling around my brain melted away and led me into a peaceful sleep. Well, it was peaceful till I was interrupted by a ring tone. I groaned, not even bothering to turn on the light as my hand searched for the ringing object. As soon as I found it I just quickly answered, pressing it to my ear and not caring whether or not the person on the other end could hear me. "What?"
"Hey." I was surprised to hear Zayn's voice on the other end. I leaned up, now more awake then I was in the previous two minutes.
"I'm guessing you got my message?"
"Yeah. Listen, I'm sorry. The guys and I were just shocked to figure it out. I think we can all agree everyone said at least one thing they regret, or regrets not saying something." I heard him lean up in his bed.
"I agree."
"Sorry that I yelled at you. Things happened and, um, yeah." He sighed heavily.
"It's fine. Now, I'm guessing we're all good?"
"Yeah. You can finally come over tomorrow if you wish." I cheered lightly at his comment and he laughed. "That lasted a lot more then I thought it would."
"You were pissed at me, I thought it was going to last another week or two."
"Oh come on, friends don't stay pissed at friends for that long." I replied with a yeah, okay but inside I felt crushed. Zayn, my crush, has just confirmed that the I love you I said at the end of the message was taken as a friendship I love you and he had no problem with that.
"Now, would you let me catch some sleep now?"
"Yeah, go ahead." He said a short goodbye and hung up before I could say anything else.
"Well, that was the oddest 'getting back together' talk I've ever had." I laughed softly, placing my phone down and cuddling back up to my covers.

A/N: Shortest chapter ever, eh? Plus, I think that's the simplest 'we're friends again' theme ever, but I really don't care. I'll be able to get back into long chapters and the shenanigans of this team later. But, as for now...enjoy!
